UI text is very hard to read
-
Hey guys, just fired up BMS (4.34 U4) on my new 1440p monitor. Inside the cockpit looks really good, but the text on some screens (debriefing screen, for example) is really hard to read. Is there a fix for this, such as a way to swap out the fonts on the UI?

I’m getting this too. Can temporarily get it larger using Windows key and plus sign but that’s a pain. Has to be a setting somewhere?

UI screen resolutions are 1024X768, I’m sure this is reason for your problems. The 43" TV I use as my monitor automatically switches display resolutions when going from 2D to 3D, I know this is of no help to you just offering up the info and pointing at the possible reason for your issue.

As Cantoo mentioned, the 2D UI is hardcoded at 1024x768. I changed my Windows Magnifier settings to the below which is much nicer:
- [Select] Collapse Magnifier window to a floating transparent magnifying glass
- Choose a view: Full screen
- Enable Magnifier to follow: [select] Mouse cursor
- Keep the mouse cursor: Centred on the screen
Edit: and CTRL+ALT and mousewheel will zoom as well, a bit nicer than WINKEY+Plus

Depending on your monitor: Settings > Display > Text Scaling could help.
