Classic USAF Fighter Weapons Review articles
-
I told Mikaa I’d scan some old FWR articles that deal with Jurassic era low level flying. Some of these are 40 years old. FWR was a quarterly publication published by the Fighter Weapons School at Nellis. These articles represent the tactical mindset of fighting WWIII against the Warsaw Pact. There was always some pretty cool graphics, no egos, but well thought out opinions/techniques of pilots and WSOs from practically every tactical airplane. Not sure of the Forum limits on bulk posting, I’ll add the last five in a second post to this thread. Enjoy
Oh…apologies for a few pages where the right hand edge of text may lose a letter or two. Some source documents I photocopied were in hard bound volumes at the Maxwell AFB Air University Library.

This is the second half of my collection of FWR articles about low level flying.

Top notch material, dated or not. Excellent reading.

Wow, looks like I have my work cut out for me. Thanks so much for the uploads RhoBee! I’ll probably be back over the next few weeks with some questions on the material. Can’t wait to delve into this.

'77 is not that long ago, is it? Damn… it is, now I feel old.
