Tower wont let me taxi nor remove chokes

For tower FREQ I have printed them out and I enter them now manually depending on the airfield I am at
good.
I wish the manuals would just provide something like “Shift+alt+strg+arrows” to make it usable.
we discussed that to death
the fact is that two ppl may have two different key files, therefore referencing the actual shortcut is not the purpose of the manual. too many ppl will report it doesn’t work.
so we refer callbacks and the user need to check which key it is according to their own keyfile.
the manuals are not done for specific people, they have to address the whole community, with their own specificitiesopen the ui, controller tab and check or use the documentation provided with the keyfile you use (just like the good old days when we had keyboard overlay)
If you use the default ones, then these docs are in your docs folder: BMS Keystrokes - Defaults.pdf
A quick glance at that PDF will tell you that the cursors are mapped on the arrow keys => problem solvedNow, Captains bar on the FCR don’t move with WOW (Weight on Wheels) so if you’re trying that on the ground, it won’t work
-
If you are using the default keyfile you can find the BMS Keyboard Layout (US or FR or GER).pdf in your \Falcon BMS 4.33 U1\Docs\Key Files & Input\Keyboard Layout Files folder.
You can refer to that if you see a callback you haven’t used before, or you can search it to find what you’re looking for.

I try it in training scenarios when I’m airborne. Using the HARM scenario. Krause’s video tutorial on HARMs is really helpful until its time to move the cursor Don’t get me wrong,
not that I want to trashtalk about his videos. But it lacks further explanation for rookies on how to use the cursor.
I am using the standard key file that is provided with installation of 4.33 U1 and U2.I have yet to find out which command name(CURSOR MOVE, CBM or something like that which I havent found yet) is bind to the particular combo.
-
cursors can also be assigned to analogue axis (if you have HOTAS)…
it all depends on your own configuration -
Thank you for the help so far guys
Now another question. Concerning the HARM: As I switch to A-G I turn PWR ON and switch to HAD. With DMS DWN I make sure that the screen has the grey frame around it to be SOI.
How do I control the Cursor now in order to lock on to targets? The manual doesn’t provide information on which buttons I have to press on my keyboard and mouse. I have SOI but I cant move the 2 green lines around onto targets
I think the default bindings are [Shift] + [Arrow] keys (because regular arrow keys are the ICP DCS? switch). Are you still having problems with HAD mode?
-
I press Shift+ Menu and the arrow keys and it moved the cursor, finally!!! The only problem now is that it wont lock on
So even though I use to cursor on a yellow 3 (which is a radar that is emitting 3 signals constantly as far as I know)
there isn’t a square appearing around the target whereas it does in Krause’s video^^.Edit: I assume there is a finger-twist-ankle-break combo to “Press” on a target in order to select it.

Hint: search the Keyboard Layout for TMS Up.

Now that I have mastered the AGM-88 HARM a few questions did arise. In a few ocassions I can’t magnum the HARM although I am inside the firing range, Master Mode is ON, HARM PWR is ON and A-G Mode engaged.
When checking SMS I noticed that on the left of the weapon designation the indication “MAL” is written. Indicating a malfunction if I am not mistaking. Is it possible to reboot the missile or is it just bad luck that I got a faulty one
and I can RTB without doing any DEAD?Next I am concerned with A-A:
When doing CAP or INTERCEPTION I constantly ask AWACS for vectors. Every now and then AWACS states picture clear or provides vectors(multiple bandits, vector 1-7-0 35 miles, 21000) which I travel to. Yet I haven’t encountered any Bogey nor Bandit on said vectors.
All I was doing was flying towards some coordinates with no enemys. Is this normal, buggy or do I overlook something? -

and it’s not badluck you most probably overGed or oversped the stores -

I think i recall a hung status has a specific mnemonic replacing the staion ID: F, D or H

Correctomondo he hasn’t specially said that he didn’t get that indication, so I might be right yet. Who knows
