BMS GUI 21:9 ?
-
Hi,
how can i adjust the GUI Aspect Ratio from 4:3 to 21:9 ?I have now this
and i like to have it like this:
Thanks,
cheers

Sadly, you can’t. The UI is hardcoded at 1024x768. Whether this changes in the future or not, I have no idea, but for now you can’t change it. If you dislike the distortion/stretching, you can run the game in windowed mode.

Mine is stretching to 21:9 without doing anything. ?

It will stretch if you’re running BMS fullscreen, but it will be distorted… meaning the aspect ratio is not maintained.
-
A Monitor settings can stretch fullscreen GUI. It is just simply breaking the aspect ratio.

Thats weard, i can do what i want, but it wont stretch by itself…
Even in Fullscreen or in Window Mode…

In my case, my monitor is BenQ E2200HD and has an option to stretch a video image when it does not match the 16:9 aspect ratio. When in fullscreen BMS 2DUI output 4:3 video image to the monitor so if I enabled the option my monitor will stretch 4:3 video image to 16:9. This way I can stretch BMS 2D UI to 16:9.

My reply was poorly worded. You can ‘stretch’ the 4:3 image to fit a 21:9 screen. It will just be heavily stretched.

Yeap.
There was a past post about an extra falcon bms.cfg option that could be manually added in there to allow game/UI use all supported resolutions / refresh rates. Cannot find it though…

This is what I was referring to:
