Running Falcon BMS 4.33.3 on a new systen
-
Hi!
I am going to buy a new coumputer system that has:
i3 7100
1050Ti GTX
8GB of Ramis this going to be enough to run this game smoothly? now I am running AMD Phenom II x4 920, 4GB of Ram, 260 GTX and it has a lot of bugs.
thanks…

A - is your budget tight ?
B - any other purposes for the computer…?Personally, I would not go for the i3… If you can stretch, go for the i5, preferably 7600k. Ok, its twice the price, but you get better bang for buck, especially if you have multi purpose use in mind… I know there might be a budget based logic for the i3 in some cases, but I don’t think its worth it…

… He compares an overclocked i3 vs a stock i5, but you get the point…Budget is real tight.
I heard it from other people as well (the thing with the processor), I think I will go with i5 7500 (its still in my budget).
Will it be better? -
If budget is tight, are you considering 2nd-hand systems? I would go for a better CPU and GPU. I suspect your system will handle BMS fine on a 1080p res, but may struggle once more things start happening. It’s really much better to “go higher” and get better performance than to go for the barest minimum and struggle.

I tend to agree with this.
Unfortunately I haven’t seen any industry benchmarks that we can easily use as a proxy for BMS performance… However, the i3 7100 does have some pretty performance numbers… If you go the i3 i’d love to hear how it goes
