Nordic Theater

This aspect has not been developed. Default GU is all we are working with right now. Ccc has new improved ground units but all focus is on planes and a few boats for now. This could and should be worked on in the future but it is not at this time.

Molni,
Knowing your interest in Red-side, you should provide some suggestions in a well thought out “wish-list.” The Nordic DB shifts emphasis from Asia to Europe quite a bit. Once folks have a chance to fly Nordic I think most will agree the improvements on red side are rather profound. Moreover, I envision, once a few more devs get actively involved in the 3d models and skinning process, that will only improve. Many Russian/Soviet a/c have been upgraded and there are a several dozen additional flyable cockpits for both blue and red sides now with 3dwings and such. So, if you want to see development in the ground game - you will have to get your wish list put out there for consideration.
The other thing is to think of any DB as an eternal work in progress. It can always be improved and there is always something to add. With continued interest and energy the process continues, else it can just sort of sit - waiting for another energetic person to step in the “fix” or improve something. Starrats and Chuckles are your go to guys - they can relay final decisions on DB add-ons to me and it will be done over time and make its way back out in an upgrade.

Explanation of USSR army air defense + WPACT + DPRK with exact examles + AC squadrons and diff. level.
https://www.mediafire.com/folder/9ev10eefzb499/BMS_database_13-07-2016Another important issue is to finnaly has flare chance values based on RL seeker and detector features. Currently the DB does not follow in way too many cases the RL evolution of IR missiles.

I am impreesed about this initiative.
Are there any plans for integrating red SAM S-400 in this theater ? -

Are there any plans for integrating red SAM S-400 in this theater ?well there are now, but this might be a big gun for the campaigns, maybe in just one modern campaign and available for TE builders.
S-400 has a 400km range with its long range missiles! it would be something to consider when the Ground units are being focused on.
Is there a model of this out there? i dont even know. I saw a new model of a Russian sam somewhere, but the (sa10) looks just like s-400.@Molnibalage
this info will be very helpful and will be used when we get on the Ground Units. -

Are there any plans for integrating red SAM S-400 in this theater ?Even the S-300PMU1 is pontless with 150 km range because of bubble limitations. 150 km range means target should be tracked and missile can be launched beyond 150 km. This is way, way bigger distance than bubble limit of Falcon.
Also, the sim. eng. capability none of the SAMs are modelled or as well as their anti ARM capability. Also the regiment/brigade stucture also cannot be modeled.
Reagardless of 20 years of evolutions Falcon did not get the upgrade which make possible model at least barely the minimum for IADS, search/FCRs separate modeling in a single battalion (DB term) etc. Currently the best what you can get better missile kinematic modeling.

F-5A upgrade, 3dwings, and 3d clickable cockpit integrated - see pics in skin thread. I have two more a/c and the afterburner upgrades to run thru then DB4 is in the can.

Now that we have our two campaigns finalized and working right, we are expanding the number. We are planning to include in our initial release six campaigns. Two will be modern, one futurist while the other three will be set between 1960 and 1985. Here are a few pictures that will give you folks an idea of what we are doing.
Ranger, Starrats and I are trying to coordinate the campaigns so that all of the DB’s new aircraft with be included in at least one campaign. In this way, Norway won’t be just Korea in a differnt place, but a totally new ground breaking theatre with new game play and aircraft. Our constant theme in this project has been to move Falcon forward with our theatre. With this forward movement, all of us want our new knowledge to grow in everybody’s theatres.

More good news from all of my dearest friends involved here… just can’t await to start to do my little part on that once again soon.
With best regards,

Is there a download link for this theater cause I’ve been scrolling this thread and cant find one
-
it hasn’t been released yet.

Thanks Badger

Apologies gents - but as you know all theater work goes by Falcon weeks. If you look thru the other Nordic related threads you can see some nice stuff is coming out . . . you WILL see this theater released - not vaporware. However, we need to clean some things up in several areas. When Starrats and Chuckles are happy with the theater it will be released and I think folks will like it. Like any theater, there will always be more things to add and upgrade - and that is where you - the public come in - 1st you are the next level of testers to really dig into stuff to identify bugs/issues. 2nd, we are hoping to capture a few good folks interest enough they will want to roll up their sleeves and join with Team Nordic to help make Nordic even better. Despite a lack of postings a lot of work has been done in the background - you just haven’t been given a daily dose of work-in-progress pics and us engaging with forum chatter. Instead we have deliberately chosen to focus on getting stuff done. Stay tuned and you will see what am writing about soon enough.

Fair point this yours, Ranger - and waiting is not wasting my time, neither in this case, because those premises. IMHO, of course.
So, just as you suggested, I’ll wait gladly because I’ll see what will be released. Everything at its time. With best regards,

Completed all the models - just have afterburner upgrade - it is Mother’s Day (opps) so will have to cut short this weekend’s dev time.
-
Excited to see and use this theatre, Regard’s Joseph.
-
Also very interested…. would happily fly and note any pecularities or bugs and let you guys know. Sounds like it would be a fine addition to sim.

Good, Uwe, and who knows if would it be possible to agree and fly some MP testing sessions together… I’d love that. So let’s keep in touch, if you like this.
With best regards,
Gianni.
