How IA battalions behave?
-
I d like to know how IA battalions behave in front of a broken bridge? do they find another way to reach their destination? or they stop ?
-
I’ve seen them re-rout in the campaigns. Don’t know about TE.
-
they will eventually find another way around if there is one. it sometimes takes a while, though.
-
Engineers might pull up and fix it, meh?
-
I am on the 5th day of a campaign, and the bridges broken the first day by both sides, continue broken.-
-
they do fix them, or at least they report that they are fixing them if you examine them.
it does take an eternity though. maybe literally if it’s busted.

Send an engineer battalion to the bridge(s) you want repaired.

I guess 5 days is enough time for repairing a bridge
-
Depends and on the how many where broken at The same time. Mechs must drive there. Each action has a cost and mech units must obey. So if some actions are high will take them longer to repair. So if one bridge took 5 days to repair and they have to repair 20 just do the math. On average you will be very close to your calculations.

All this bridge talk… I thought it was general consciences to set the infrastructure bar all the way left before starting a campaign… Even a small movement right will cause Blue forces to execute a “Kill All Bridges!!!” order (of course only tongue in cheek)… That is what I have perceived in the past. If you need to destroy a bridge, frag your own package…

That’s what I do. Blue hasn’t purposely destroyed a bridge in one of my campaigns since 2002
(Except when someone hops on and does it anyway)
