What help do you need? I found it relatively easy to do. Key thing is to forward the necessary ports on the router, and decide who is hosting the session.

Um, RTFM? Page 84 onwards of the BMS-Manual.pdf should have what you need.

Mower wins the prize for the most appropriate answer. You get a night out drinking with De-Jay.
Second prize of two nights out with Dee-Jay goes to ……

Well, you don’t need to know how to fly and fight the jet. MP is a great teaching/learning tool too! It’s not just for PvP or co-op missions straight away
-
damn I’m late to the party! I saw the title and came running! You’re all invited to the east Mediterranean for beers.

It’s a pretty straightforward and reasonable question that a newcomer might pose to my mind.
@qbano1234 as you may have surmised from the responses it’s a little difficult to answer your question with the amount of information your provided in your original post. But I’ll take a stab at adding to some of the advice already presented.
You may be thinking that you can just jump on a central Falcon BMS server and you will find all available public sessions. This doesn’t exist for BMS. So you have to find people hosting sessions, find out what time the sessions are, and see if you qualify to join. A virtual squadron will usually help you with everything there except most virtual squadrons expect you to be able to take off, land, employ most weapons. However, there are some squadrons and some individuals that sometimes are willing to take you through learning even the basics of Falcon in multiplayer. Unfortunately, these opportunities aren’t really advertised in one place. Basically, you may have to do a bit more reaching out to the community before you are able to connect to a good fit for you.
So, unless you are wanting someone to teach you basic flight, basic navigation, basic weapon employment, I would recommend you start your own progress blog entry here on the forums (or in your bio here) and list all of the training missions you have done and weapon systems you have employed in single player mode. Either way, when you reach out to people provide that information up front so they can evaluate where you are at and whether or not they will be able and willing to bring you into their multiplayer fold. As you are going through the tutorials and have issues, you can post here in the forums about your tribulations, successes, and your questions. Keep reminding folks here you are interested in multiplayer and link to your blog and-or bio in your signature and I’ll bet sooner rather later you’ll start getting invites to check out squadrons or to go on MP flights.

legendary thread title, personally would of went with “mayday mayday mayday” sorry I’m feeling silly today, getting ready for a 26 hr chain of air travel to land me in the beautiful land of Dubai…
or as I call, arabic tempe arizona :), there is a halal ice skating rink, 5 stories underneath a desert I’ve heard about…I’m going in for science.
I worked in the biz 20 years and still work in entertainment and gaming and **** dude, I tried Mp with some veterans recently and basically had every problem possible, murphys law, with the jet and the hardware i was using (it used me) you can ask redshift… hahaha hindsight is great. I’m a good stick and I don’t mind public humiliation it’s what makes us better and makes Seinfeld millions. I’m kind of a transient person, so I post in hordes and then will vanish because of work, but I’m catching up now whilst queuing like a good member of the eurozone (bleck!) I might be drunk on airport beer, what’s it to you?
Here comes my roundabout point but this is how I get your attention, learn the jet- get the ****ing flight manual and go through every panel and feature exhaustively. The f-16 fighting falcon is the swiss army knife of the fighter mafiosi I knew and loved. It has massive range because of the onboard FLCS and CRS computer, try that in a mig29. learn every cool little niche of every panel, go up and turn off your main power, simulate a no hud visual landing, learn to work the UFC in backup… learn to break a stall using MPO, learn how to alternative release and why you should. The VFW guys here are godamn legends, they say two words on the DCS forums and they get tarred and feathered and thrown down the slave hole for pointing out that that simulates a flight model and sacrifices the process to getting there…if the shit ever hit the fan, and some maniac communist was flying over the hill in a katmanduh special with some garage built oppenheimer for uncle sam, and all that was left was DCS plebs and BMS jocks, the bms jocks get the ****ing lunch codes.
it simulates the pilots attention needs, forget about enemies, turn the labels on till you learn BRA and BULLS, learn the jet…
and once you learn that, learn the hornet, so you can carrier. there are gaming communities that support the new pilots, but I learn well by myself, I don’t like feeling like someone is obligated to me, but other’s learn differently, and have different personalities.Fly, find someone you have fun with to fly with…I fly with a really good friend, but we do it only seldom…the internet isn’t really good for that. you’ll find many people who need something. If you were to go about it differently " hey I’m trying to learn X, y, z" or the lovable moon faced kid with chocolate on his face and a whirly gig on his hat “haaaaaaaallllllp?”
I personally believe in equal opportunity, give milton the keys!
EDIT: I got called away to work by a friend who needed help, so now I’m reading furiously, won’t be able to fly for at least 6 weeks!!!
