I'm doing research, have 2 questions.

hello,
in ckptart, there are numbers, pertaining to cockpit parents, however there can be overridden with base model callbacks, EX:
a folder named f14, if placed into ckptart will become the native location for the ckpt. Before I left town, I made a tomcat out of the wingmodel number, the hud and POV settings from the f16d blk40, as well as the canopy and 3d pit and buttons dat file, by simply changing the wing model I got a working model. I looked through this document titled “cockpit parents” and found the mig29s reference ID number, as a test, I copied the contents of the file, created a new file in ckptart titled “su27” and pasted those there, the result was excellent, I had a russian interior. I searched this document further and found refrence to an “EF” wing model…
I searched and searched here, but to no avail to find where these reference ID’s would be, but I am posting now to ask for help.
I’d like to know two things: All planes, ALL, have wing model and cockpit wing model numbers, I’d like to know how to find these…not just the ones that have 3d pits, specifically I’d like the number of the su27 wing model.
my second ask, would be the callbacks that are coded into “ckptart” that are already looking for things like “f14” and “su27” or is it common sense? I noticed the “ef” was not “ef2000” it was just ef, so I tried that too…, copied the dat buttons and 3d pit file from the 52+ and dropped it into a new file titled “EF”, changed the wing model number to suit the document “cockpit parents” and viola, EF2000 3dpit ish with proper wing visible through pit.
I’m doing this all on a laptop. Waiting around, firing meteor missiles with the labels on lol.
Massive respect to everybody , just trying to learn as to be of usefulness.

can any point me to the wing models for each plane please and thank you?

If you look in de cockpit data map you will find it.
C:\Falcon BMS 4.33 U1\Data\Art\ckptart

but what about for aircraft that currently do not have data maps; for instance in “cokcpit parents” it lists “1459” as eurofighter… there is no “1459” in ckptart…
having made a folder named “ef” and adding the wing model number listed in “cockpit parents”, now there is an ef2000, only then.
In other words, for a plane like the f-117, or the su-27, f108 crusader, because there is no default “data map” folders as you call them, that I can find at least. I went through every data map folder and data map file, they are all for f14, f4, f15c, f15e, f22, mig29a,b,c,g, the f16, av8b, and the tornado…but there is no reference to these unknown aircraft that I have found.
however, the reason I ask, simply adding the wing model number of the EF refrenced in cockpit parents, to the data file for the block 52+, then creating a folder titled “ef” has created a fully functional 3d pit with viewable 3d eurofighter wings and the block 52 cockpit. This leads me to think, I could add the f14 tomcat wing model to the f4 cockpit, getting close enough, because the f14 cockpit is horrible, it’s just a 2d picture with some guys legs and a piece of paper…
I performed this transplant on the f22 placeholder as well using the cockpit from the 52+ and the wing model from the original install, the result is a freaking workable f22 without LOD edits and the skunk works wing visible through the canopy.
I was pulling 5 g cranks and could see the eurofighter canards flitting about in front of me.
I’d like to stick the su-27 wings over onto the mig29 folder I made to get the su27 into a russian cockpit. If I could find those I’d shut up.
In less than five minutes you can improve any incomplete OEM non f-16 plane, with a little know how and help from the community. I only play local and with one other person, and we only fly the viper. This is done specifically for my own enjoyment and I don’t try to hype it as my work or anything special, I’m just changing zero’s to one, or moving a 3 to a 4.

can anyone point me to where I can find the wing model numbers for ALL aircraft, including those not in cockpit parents? There are 3d pits in the DB that are not used, as far as I can surmise.
EDIT:
I Will use the 3d model lockheed released in prepar3d to the public for the f-117a, and if you help me, we will have wings and someone in the know can make buttons.

I don’t want to piss anyone off so I’ll give credit to the original install of falcon 4.33 , I’d tell you who made the files but the ckptart references for the ef2000 I assembled from the numbers there aren’t correct, and it works just based on guess work.
I thought about making a thread but the 3dpit in the database for the ef2000 doesn’t have buttons so I just used the blk52+ in the data file.
Credit where is due, I’m not releasing anything, just moving files that appear to be there already. Trying to muddle through to find where these LOD numbers point to, so I can look at them.
Edit: I think it’s 3135 trying now.
