Weapon buttons

Hi.
I’m new to Falcon BMS and I just know how to drop LGB (A-G). To release them I press the pickle button and I guess it’s the same for A-A?
And how can I use my cannon/gun very fast after firing a missile/releasing a bomb? Saw this in a couple dogfight videos.
And what does the button “Second trigger detent” mean?Cheers, Gianluca.

Second Trigger Detent is the second stage of the trigger. When you press the trigger, you’ll get into the first trigger detent and if you press it more, you’ll get to the second trigger detent. This stage is used for firing the gun.
Press “D” to get into the dogfight mode.
Weapons release is also for A-A missiles.

Thanks razo!
So if I’m in a dogfight, press D, switch to AA (If Dogfight mode doesn’t do that already), aim on the target, TMS UP and if it’s locked on the target, press the trigger (pickle)? -

MISSION 11: LASER GUIDED BOMBS (Pge 93)
Thanks Dee-Jay, do you know how I can… how to say it, if I see a enemy or let’s say a AA Vehicle on the ground on my radar, I’ve tracked him on my radar and now I wan’t to get that vehicle on my TGP, how can I do that without having to search and scroll trough my TGP?

I can’t teach you F-16 avionic on the forum.
My best advice if : read manuals progressively, do the training missions, watch videos, practice … if you can, join a virtual squadron.

I did think about joining Dutch 31st Virtual Fighter Squadron but I’m not sure if they will take me without any knowledge of flying jets. Just airplanes. Or do you think they would help me?

Let me be clear : You can ask question here, no problem of course, but it shall be more detailed and specific. One can’t comes asking “how to fire a missile” … BMS is a study sim close to a real F-16, and the study part is more or less unavoidable.
On such general question, good willing will loose their time to write things that are already written in manuals … now, if it is something you’ve read in the book you do not understand, you will be warmly welcomed.
Good luck … it is a rewarding simulation.
