Wanna try the a-10 but…

so this will probably get me a few rtfm’s but i have a single throttle and when i am in the a-10 it controls only one engine and i constantly roll to the right in air…not the case with f-18…also dual engine
what am i missing…i have spent some time on google-bms-simhq etc.
and i have referenced the manual so many times (thanks to all the hard work of the devs/community) that i feel i would have seen the answer if it was there. haven’t jumped to 4.33.1 just yet but yeah–any idea what i need. T.I.A. -
Justice, I suspect it’s a BMS modeling thing. In the Hornet the left and right throttles have their individual axis’ in setup, even though BMS does not have individual throttle control.
I would suggest seeing what your setup is. Does the BMS Warthog have individual throttle axis’ and how are they mapped?
It’s been a very long time since I’ve worked with a single throttle, which I see you have, but I suspect your answer lies in setup. -
im gonna keep lookin cause i feel like i’ve come across it before but really want to try a-10

I had the same problem……Put Flight Control on Simplified and your good to go…;)

You can change the Flight Model to Simplified in settings or else you need to trim that butch so much all the time. Looks like a problem in flight model i had the same thing when i tested it with my Warthog HOTAS ( never actually tried to fly empty plane ).
EDIT: Since i never had a chance to fly DCS A-10c I can’t compare it with anything else. I need to spend some time in A10 i guess.

Iirc in keyfile there are 3 commands - callbacks that can be set for throttle.
1.Left 2.Right engine throttle and a third which does both simultaneously.Στάλθηκε από το MI 5 μου χρησιμοποιώντας Tapatalk

@ arty
which key file would i look to edit and is it just changing a 0 to a 1 or will i need to map it or somthing?also will i need to change it back when i jump back in the viper?

Hey,
There is nothing wrong with the A-10.
Don’t change the Flight Model to simplified, unless you want to drop the advanced FM.
Also the your throttle is working fine. If you use only one throttle, it will control both engines at the same time.
If you have 2 throttles, you can set each engine to be controlled by its own throttle. Just go to the Advanced Contol Options.
You will find a axis for the “Throttle” and for the “Right Throttle”.The reason you have a roll is because of the loadout. The A-10 is normally loaded with asymetric loadout and this is causing the roll.
The A-10 does not have a Fly By Wire and you need to use the trim to trim it for straight and level flight.
Not only for the roll, but also for the pitch. This all depends on your speed.
Its only a couple of tabs.Gr Falcas

i only have 1 throttle and i believe the last i tried, rpm would increase for 1 engine not the other which is why i asked about setting both engines to 1 throttle… thanks though falacas

It should be easy enough to look at the gauges or engines to see if they’re both working.
