Two flights yesterday. In the first one we noted a big 28 second lag.
Check The video here at 1:13:20As you can see here A-10s were freezed in air for almost 30s.
Another thing is MrWell was leaving 3D at that point, once he entered UI everything get back to normal.from U4 changelog

The admin will know that at least 8 connections were CS for some reason or other. I might even have been CS myself as can’t view own status. There were also some visible instances of not closing BMS before returning to 3D so despite that the server coped which bodes well if these apparent anomalies get reduced.
Almost 4hrs in the server and other than unexplained exploding on runway during taxi one time all was smooth and problem freeIt just occurred to me that I might be seeing CS connections in chat window only because of some issue of my own connection. I think that’s possible ?

Yep. Basically, if you cannot establish a direct connection with someone for whatever reason, you will reach him through the server as a fallback and you will see each other as CS.

The client checks for P2P status on all the other clients only when you connect to the host. Sometimes if you connect at the same time as someone else one or both of you will appear as CS. One of you signing off and then reconnecting will usually fix this and you will all see each other as P2P.
Obviously at the start of large-scale events like this when many people are connecting at the same time you will see this issue happen more frequently.

This Coming Sunday’s test will be held on the Battle For Balkans 1.3.2. This test will determine if we can host a Force On Force event or not so fingers crossed. I’d like to see a lot of guys fly in this event. This event will have to option to fly either Red Or Blue side just like we did in TvT EZ3. Please Note the red side has human flyable MiG-29 as well.

Only change from the 1.3.1 to 1.3.2 is the addition of AGM-88 to all F-16s. Test start’s at 1600GMT.

With that restriction, I believe that most of us in ANZ will be excluded. Looking at the Speed test topic at FO, there will be a lot of international people excluded from this. Veterans Gaming is also now using 2048 as minimum so that’s out as well. Not being on Fibre, I simply cannot get that level of upload over copper from NZ and many in Australia will have the same problem.
Looks like we’ll just have to setup an ANZ server ourselves down here.
I’ve been very successful for the last 2 years running a BMS server (headless) on an Azure hosted server with all clients being forced to CS @ 1024. Very stable. And while I can’t always get it to run for days on end, I can consistently get it to run 12+ hrs without human intervention and with 16+ flyers online. Longest I have kept it running without intervention is 5 days and I stopped it then only to host a different event.

Well, on WA internet Im in the same boat as Tazz. Cant get 2MBps up to CONUS. A server down under would change that, though.

Unless something has changed the setting has to be 2048 but its acceptable to have as low as 1.5 in the test.

Good stream…did shutting it down near the end clear the freezing?
BTW I had no such issues today on the server.

No it didn’t help. My connection was lagging like crazy not sure why.

Did 3 flights on the server today. All were great. Smooth and no issues. Thx Archer and team.
