Recovering Mark points
-
Good Day, All,
Is there a way to recover Mark Points made during a flight after leaving the mission? I was Weaseling and came across 2 SA-10 sites. I made mark points, which showed up as WP 26 and 27 ( after making 2 markpoints) The lat/long data showed up as well on my UFC.
I would like to frag a mission to go back and attack the Grumbles. I checked my DTE after the mission and they weren’t there, or rather it would not let me select 26 or 27.
I also checked WDP, and couldn’t find them, though admittedly WDP is problematic for my BfB campaign -
On the long flight home pull up the mark point info on the scratch pad and write it down - on you next mission add it to your steer points using list 1 dest function. If there is a way to transfer Mark points from one mission to the next I would be surprised and interested ;0)

No way to rcover MRK points.
I usually write down the bullseye location of markpoints i need to work on the next missions. If you remember the general location of the SA-10 sites, you can create Threats circles (Steerpoints) on the AI MAP and save the DTC. This will keep the data as long as you don’t delete it.

+1
Was about to say the same/similar as Lorik. For convenience I zoom into ded with co ordinates displayed and use screenshot. As I run my 2D in window it’s a quick click on desktop shortcut to go to picture folder.
Why use 3 words when 50 will do

Thanks, Guys, that’s what I’ll do.
So, IRL and BMS, we jot down/save the coordinates, but they’re not saved in the DTE? That surprises me.
Meanwhile, I’m going to RTFM to review how/if to datalink them.
