YME64 Stoped working
-
I have been using the video extractor for weeks now, then one day I try to launch it, and I just get a windows has encountered a problem, I uninstall it, remove all folders , then reinstall it etc… I have tried all sorts of things , and no luck. I like the extractor, and really want it to work, but I just can’t get it to work anymore. First thing that came to mind was a windows update problem. I am using 8.1, has anyone else had this problem? I may have to change extractors if I can’t get it to work, any suggestions?

What exactly is the problem? What happens when you try to run YAME?
If possible try to read what the logs (located in /logs/ folder) say and even better post your configuration files.
Another thing is to post your hardware setup and the way you are using YAME (networked or local, directx hook or defafult extraction)… -
The program never executes, windows just says “yame64 has stopped working” a problem has cause the program to stop working.

}All this information is from a clean install, as soon as issue started , I uninstalled , and reinstalled, and the problem persisted. I was using the program in Hook mode. I am fairly new to windows 8.1, and did not create a restore point, so I can’t reverse updates. It looks like windows defender installed an update as follows, about the same time the program stopped working.
Definition Update for Windows Defender Antivirus - KB2267602 (Definition 1.261.748.0)

So I am learning a little about windows 8.1, you can’t reverse defenders updates. It looks like the only major update was net frameworks on 1/29 , all other updates were defenders’. I think the program stopped working on 2/4 per this log. I’m guessing a windows system update did not cause it, there were only defender update during the failure period.

Sorry, but I miss the YAME configuration files.
I need YAME64.xml found in /conf/ folder and the layout you are using. -

I have switched over to using the BMS video extraction, would prefer the YME. The problem I am having with BMS is that I cannot get the main window to the size I want. My hardware items are two 7 inch screens and one main TV 52 inch screen.

Start YAME, go to client, go to windows, uncheck masking. To be safe, re-apply all gauges and run it. It should work fine after.
