Great gunnery show there, man!

Nice vid B3rNO.
I would have merged the left guy “outside” (to the left), keeping an eye to the two on the right - to check, if they come for you. Especially as noone seems to communicate what “their” bandit is doing after the merge (sticking to them, or swapping targets).
Who is “commited” and who is “free”.
After you killed the first bandit you became “the free” bandit for the enemy and the “free” one, is mostly the one kicking arse while others being “commited” to their own bandits and vise versa. Where is the “free” bandit, and what is he doing…??2v2 or many vs many is difficult, therefore and even more so Situational Awareness DELIVERY by COMS is crucial - in terms of “my bandits is commited to me” …or “my bandit comes for you”.
In ACM, if one gets commited (stuck) in a scissor and/or a 2-cirlce… an additional threat axis (bandit) is the last thing to wish for.
Thus…- What situations are “commited” and restrictive?
- When to commit and when not?
It is an “attrition game”… who kills the first bandit … and outnumbers enemies first … In most 2v2s or 3v3s …the guys loosing the first plane … mostly loose the match. Kinda makes sense then, that survival and defense is therefore in the initially phase more important than offense.
The way, the bandits commit pre- and post-merge, will reveal their intention, but ALSO reveal their weak-spots.

Nice like always by you dear friend!

Lesson: Never get slow with a Hornet. F-15 is a boom and zoom, like the P-51. The Hornet is one of the best slow speed fighters out there! You must respect it’s nose authority at low speed. Nice fight!!

Well, yes and no. With Hornet I’m avoiding slow fights against Su-27 and Mirages 2000. They are even better I think - at least in DCS. Always looking for energy and 2 circles fight or verticals - never go for scissors with them!
In the other hand Hornet has incredible speed recovery rate - perhaps way to much than irl. -

As you can read in the “disclaimer” section in the video -> “Presented tactic should be used in 1v1 Gunz scenerio only.”
Meaning, fighter didn’t shot any missiles because that was fight with GUNZ only. The thread is called “Dogfights”.
This name is actually very universal and the thread itself might be helpful for newcomers interested in BFM, either in BMS or DCS World.
I don’t see any reason to start new thread elsewhere, especcialy when presented gameplan dynamic can be applied in BMS and vice versa.
It fits here just perfect as long as community enjoy it or learn from it.So please don’t be salty, and alow me continue doing what i love to do in this thread Thank you.
you can post in the dedicated room for that
this room if for Falcon BMS topic , not DCS, do you understand ?
This forum is about BMS, not DCS, what is not clear about the forum name ?
about the forum room
“Falcon BMS topic”
Jsut post your videos to the dedicated room OR , to the dedicated forum.

this forum is about Benchmarksims
not DCS, benchmarksims
this forum is not a general Sim forum.

Maybe in a simualtor which is called DCS, not benchmarksims
so you are giving information about a behavior of an aircraft simulated in a software that is not the software we want to discuss here
this forum is about benchmarksims, not DCS, read again, not DCS.
if you want to discuss about behavior of the F18 in DCS , please go in the dedicated forum room, or better,
go to
we dont give a damn shit about the DCS F18 behavior.
you can of course talk about the BMS F18 behavior here
read BENCHMARKSIMS, not DCS…
capito ?

Why isn’t the fighter in the above shot with an AIM-9? He’s only 5,000’ away and 2,000’ above.
ask the question in the dedicated forum
we dont have the answer here

So please don’t be salty, and alow me continue doing what i love to do in this thread Thank you.

It’s an unnecessary provocation.
I hope you don’t do it on purpose? I think you’ve chosen the wrong forum, mate. -

Now think for a moment which of these two are less appropriate in Dogfight related thread:
- Dogfight video? or…
- Dirty language?
But to help you avoid wasting your time I have a proposition/request for the moderators:
Could you please move/transfer the whole “dogfights” thread to the “Software Corner” and (if possible) remove all unrelated posts?
I’ll be much appreciate. -
Out of respect for the mods and the devs, don’t post other sim videos in the BMS topics forum in the first place. Their house, their rules - simple.

Asking for transfer thread to the section where you can read something like -> “Discuss non-BMS software here.” and where other DCS videos already have been posted, you called it out of respect?
