What specs? especially Gfx card model and CPU / RAM.
Monitor type or native resolution at least? -

… and use windowed mode

Yeah I had been doing that. Still does it though. But thank you for the suggestion!

16 GB DDR4, GTX 1070, i7-7700K. LG 144hz 1920x1080.

Running the latest drivers yes?
I am running at 60hz despite a much higher capable monitor - someone else would need to chime in if they have ever attempted to run this at 144hz - that would be the first thing I would look to reduce though.
The gfx settings in game…… try unticking Vertical Sync and Anis Filtering in the Advanced button
Setup an NVIDIA profile to enable it there. (right click desktop -> NVIDIA control panel)

… and use windowed mode
Hi, is there a reason I should use windowed mode if I don’t need alt-tab and I have just 1 monitor 1080p?
Thanks! -
I now have it fixed. I made a big mistake. I pinned the game itself to my taskbar rather than the U1 launcher itself. Since launching it from the U1, it has been just fine. Thank you everybody for your help, but it is no match for my stupidity.

I’ve been running into this issue as well. I have a i5 6500, GTX 970, 16GB RAM, WIN 10. I had my BMS on my start menu and unpinned it and this didn’t change anything.

Adjusting must meant that he had a wrong shortcut pinned in his taskbar, and not the fact that he had it pinned was the issue.
