Thanks for the welcome guys!
fixed the wing seew bug
Who or what is the wing seew bug? You referring to the wings ‘oversweeping’ into parking position mid air?

would love to see a cat pit in BMS
-
I just flew in one, F-14D, even had two functioning MFDs - or am I missing something?
-
That video is awesome Brian! Very nice angles and nicely put together…what game is this?
-
I don’t know but the Floggers look exactly like FF. But I can tell of course it’s not FF as the water ripples and shines(only noticeable when they’re low over water bugging out at end of vid).
LOMAC??? EDIT: checked original post on YT and someone mentioned Flaming Cliffs, so yeah LOMAC.
And yes, well put together vid.

I thought it’s yours. Lomac is what I thought, that (pretty poor) F-14 model looks like Lomac as well as the SFX and water. Either way it’s a nice video…even with a centerline drop tank on one of the Tomcats

LOL, the part where FC was mentioned was someone criticizing the Tomcat in the video having a F15 pit. HAHA

Yes.

Yeah I noticed that too…shouldn’t be too hard to fix as the sweep wing modelling seems as simplistic as that in FF but I might be wrong on that.
-
IMHO if other solutions do not work I can accept that parking setting is not available even on CV deck. For me, it is important how is looking the jet in the air and not on the ground…

Hear that!

OH BAH, you need to spend more time flying and fighting then gawking out the window at stuff that doesn’t affect the WAR!!!:p

Links??

There are no links yet. What you see is a WIP and I haven’t even begun to look at how the BMS rendering/lightning affects the skins which, until now, have been optimized for a DX6 environment. In the last 4 years I’ve created, tested and released skins for FreeFalcon and never had to deal with such beautiful rendering effects and their effect on how the texture looks.
Case in point is that the above bird is actually light grey in color but the lightning makes it look much more blue than it should. Another point are the panel lines which are almost invisible due to the lightning.
I’m consolidating all my Tomcat artwork right now and I’ll look at these issues and how to resolve them to get to a qualitative result. Right now I’m just beginning to see how things look in this new BMS environment and along the way I’m sharing my findings.
Stay tuned.
