-Ice’s Helios profile quirk
-
Has anyone else experienced this strange issue on -Ice’s single touchscreen setup Helios profile? Other than these 3 things, everything else works wonderfully.
-
When touched, the backup TACAN panel tens and ones digits become smaller in size and then freeze on that digit, unable to either go up or down. The hundreds place digit, and the X/Y, however both work fine.
-
When you press the rotary knobs on the backup UHF panel, all the digits except the hundreds digit disappear immediately. The same goes for the preset channel selector knob as well.

On the HSI the bottom left/right quadrant touch zones will increment/decrement the hdg/crs by one degree per touch as they are supposed to. The upper right/left quadrant touchzones are supposed to change by 5 degrees per touch, however they appear to try to change by 2 degrees initially for a split second, then quickly go back 1 degree and ultimately end up being just a one degree change that takes even a bit longer than using the bottom quadrants…
I am using Windows 7, -Ice’s BMS 4.33 v4.21S Helios profile for his single touchscreen setup, and the latest YAME64 version. Hopefully someone has an answer! Thanks

Zero I have noticed the same HSI quirk. I’m going to look into it too.
Waa-la! My past self answered my present self in a past post from May 2nd, 2016!
Nothing like my past self teaching my future self how to fix the problem again in the latest version of BMS! LOL
"Also, for members still looking for the 5 degree HSI fix, just add
set g_nKnobAccelerationDelta 0 to your falcon bms.cfg file and you’ll be all set.(thought I would save someone else some reading if they are still looking for that one…)"
IRONIC, that someone was me! lol
ALSO, anybody have a link to Waichous Helios profile? The link has expired from his post.
Cheers!

As this feature was introduced a long time ago, the fix for it was posted during that time as well:
