Launching.

Hi, does anyone know how I can launch the game in 64 Bit?
I have Windows 8.1 Professional 64 Bit.
Also, is it possible for me to use my Xbox One controller to fly aircraft’s in-game? Is there a way to map the buttons and joysticks?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

64 bit is enabled by simply clicking the option in the upper right corner of the launch screen. Make sure to use window mode as described elsewhere in these forums. I use analog game pads in conjunction with my flight stick using Joystick Gremlin… create a virtual controller and rock on…

Yes, it will detect it and you can map away.
Right now XBOX controller is all I have, Flight stick awol in another state at the moment!!

Ok, thanks. How do I go about mapping the controls. Say if I wanted to make the left analogue stick make the aircraft go up and down and left and right. And map the right analogue stick for looking around inside the cockpit and using the left trigger to slow down and the right trigger to engage afterburners. If that makes sense.

In game, go to Setup>Controllers, on the right hand side is the “Current Keyfile”, with all the commands below it. Scroll to the function you want to change, click on the entry in the Key column and push(map) your button to that function.
Is easy to do!! Once you’ve mapped them all, Save it, name it something unique to the existing names so you know it’s the one you created!!

I forgot to ask you, is there an easier way I can lock onto a target and fire a missile, or fire air to ground ordinance. Say if I wanted to map those keys to buttons on my Xbox One controller. I’ve been playing Falcon BMS for a while and I’ve never figured out how I actually lock onto a target and fire a missile. What are the default keyboard keys for locking onto a target and firing ordinance?
Thanks.

/ = Fire Gun
Space = Weapon pickle(bombs/missiles)
Number Pad “.”(period) = designate target(Lock target)
Number Pad “0”(zero) = release designate(unlock target)C9
