Unable to use mouse to look around in cockpit
-
Hello, people!!
So, a friend of mine is unable to look around in cockpit using his mouse. He is able to move his “body” forward and to both sides pressing and holding the scroll wheel (and outside cockpit as well), but INSIDE, it’s not possible for some reason and we have no idea why. He does not use TrackIR nor OpenTrack. Please help us! He is in 3d cockpit.
What we have already tried:
-reinstalled BMS;
-checked everything on setup regarding mouselook, field of view etc;
-deleted the dx9display;
-changed mouse;
-checked Bms.CFG
-looked into his video card driverThank you.

Hi I’m not sure if this is a spamming or not, i don’t mean too.
C9, I am having the same problem too. I’ve followed you exacted instructions as you have above;
Ingame, Setup>Controllers>Advanced, check Enable Mouselook and set Mouselook Sensitivity slider.
I’ve also tried by enable by pressing the number 3 on the keyboard and not on the number pad.
Then I’ve tried it again by holding down the right button on the mouse and move it around to verify that if it works or not. But it has fail it doesn’t move around at all.
Any other suggesting anyone? I do not have any Track IR either!….
Thanks & God Bless

This is my Controllers>Advanced tab
Set this way, in the “3” view, I can hold the right mouse button down and pan around the cockpit!! No problems.
In “0” Orbit view, you can pan around by just moving your mouse around, no need to hold down the right button!!

Hey C9, thanks I’m done and copy exactly as your pic has shown but still no dice but I can use and it works on the “0” for Orbit.
I’ve enclosed a pic of my setup to comparing of yours…. I must be doing something else wrong… I press the “3” once on the keyboard and hold down the right button to pan around in the cockpit but still no change…C9, thanks for your valuable time……

What type of joystick are you using and what key file are you using??
Do me a favor, in Setup, go to just the Controllers page, not to Advanced, take a pic of the Controllers page and post it please!
Cheers,

Hey C9 hi, okay I’ve the problem now the “3” button wasn’t assigned in the in game. I’ve assigned it now to the “3” button to pan view in the cockpit and it works. I don’t have to hold the right button on the mouse it works without doing it.
C9, thanks a million for your valuable time!
