Are the A6 specifically modeled, maybe from another theater?
yes it’s A-6A, slightly modded from A-6E model.

early thoughts:
Very cool! the map size seems right, the A1’s are the most fun to throw around IMHO.
Almost every plane uses the A10 cockpit from BMS (possible with some textures polished? i may be wrong there). While id love to see cockpits for the individual planes, i know thats a lot of effort and i appreciate whats been done so far. For enhanced realism, pilots may wish to drop weapons in Manual mode, with the STDBY reticle. bind a dial or similar axis to reticle depression, set the SMS page in ground to MAN, and arming delays as appropriate and sling your napalm and bombs as preferred. i find the bottom of the cross hair works well at the 125mil setting for most things, but i may invest some time in constructing a range table for us all if theres sufficient demand!I know this is a BMS thing, but its a shame we cant fire rockets in single as opposed to the entire pod at once. i recognise this was a setting made by fround crew, so perhaps have two pod options at loadout?
similarly, the F105D model needs love, the gear is messed up on take off, and the textures for it make “strike fighters 2” look like DCS!
all things considered, day one release is awesome and ill be sure to continue playing. the A-1 in particular.
Looking forward to seeing others come up in the air with me - ‘sandy’ will be on the lookout for you!

starting the campaign the “normal” way will work, but a bunch of Blue air units will be wildly misplaced at wrong bases and the red side’s ATO will not be defensive, so I don’t recommend it.
This is how we designed it, for specific reasons. But we released it to the community so if you want to build your own CAMs be my guest: it’s all yours That is what this whole thing is built on.
Note: We are going to release new campaigns along the way along with fixes that pop-up in incremental updates every so often.

There was so many tinkering and learning there that, although it works, it is not in any way ‘Example’ how campaign is done.

where you n SP campaign or MP campaign?
That was in SP campaign. Seems to happen pretty consistently - at least in both the default (and my own modified) '65 campaign.

Check the trigger file.
Most probably you have a trigger making a loop and executing #PLAY_MOVIE XXX.Just a thought, since I’m messing with campaigns in POH Theater and I’ve experienced something similar.

What happens is Da Nang being (re)captured or (re)lost? Trigger file is as lean as can be. Let me know if you encounter issues; everything posted will go on the ‘fix’ file

Is there a cockpit guide for the F-105 ? I got in that pit for the first time and got overwhelmed pretty quick. I notice that the UFC is where it would be on the A-10C and was trying to toggle the TOS mode so I could have speed for TOT. I was also wondering how and where in the pit does one power on weapons ? Couldn’t figure out how to power on Shrikes. I’m pleased to have this theater and would love to fly the Thud and have a glimpse of the Vietnam war.
Cockpit layout would be fantastic if you have one or can point me in the direction in the docs.Thank you for your hard work and dedication you have for this sim.

Not sure about the rest(tot,tos)… but I arm weapons with keyboard shift m.
Can check what pit f105 uses … (probably a10, or f4)
And then pit docs for that should be easy to find from origjnal. -

Yes!
I am a very bad pilot… but here is video of f105 (me, not ai) attacking sams.
I cut detail way down for size to upload from phone, so sorry for bad display.By checking your control setting you can find how to get to ag mode instead of just SMS page.
Mine is a very old and not recommended setup.
I just hit “return” for aa, and “backspace” for air to ground. And it moves mfd to correct page.
But I tinker more than fly.
Recommended is to study current setups for more realism, but I know the same controls are in there , just assigned differently.Some better pilots will be able to tell you how to get to ag mode with “tms” or something.

Shrikes work the same as AGM-88’s: Power on in the WPN (weapons) page. Check the manual, it works the same as the AGM-88. Except the missile specifications are different (range for instrance).
