Hey Zelegend,
Nice progressā¦ You should talk to Bluey about doing some SRTM data for your terrain. It will certainly get rid of all that flat areas that in real life are not all that flat and really improves your terrain. He did some for us a while back, and once posted what files he needs to do, then he does the data and sends it back for you to use. Maybe request his assistance and he might be still willing to help you guys out.

Hi,
Those vids are in the south of Pak where it is very flat indeed. Elevations in the mountainous north seem to be spot on. Thanks for the info, will contact him.

Heya. Are you sure it is not accurate already? Iāve been comparing the L2 versus Google Earth altitudes and they seem to be pretty similar all round. I think they could best be described as āundulatingā rather than flat.
Its worth bearing in mind also, (IIRC) the SRTM stuff is editing the L0 file primarily. As the BMS4 terrain only uses L2 for the terrain now, is the SRTM level of detail not now redundant? I appreciate you might get a more accurate L2, but again I donāt believe the L2 is too far out as it is anyway.
