Cougar MFD setup
-
Ok so I reacently purchases the dual cougar MFD input buttons. These look great.
I have a older smaller monitor that I hooked up to my game machine.
Within the BMS setup… I extracted the mfd s to the second monitor. and sized them to fit within the cougar MFD’s.Now the question is … Anyone come up with an easy way to mount the mdf’s to you basic computer monitor?
Considering you’ll be pressing the buttons it needs to be somewhat secure… but not permanent.
THe mfd’s need to sit flat on the screen surface. not on the side edge of the monitor.Sorry no pics right now to show what I’m talking about, but I’m sure anyone with these mfd’s will understand what I’m talking about!
any ideas
Thanks

I used 2mm thick double sided sticky foam straight to the screen. The sticky foam comes off if/when required.

Blue tac. works great and you will probably keep changing how you want the MFDs displayed and just using blue tac around the edges of your monitor works great.

I have used blue tac and double-sided tape straight onto the screen.
4-6 matchhead sized applications works well for me. And is relatively easy to remove.
Double-sided is a bit more permanent once your happy with their position. But removal can be difficult.

Thanks for the ideas… sounds like blue tac initially until I find the position I like… Then possibly switch to double sided.
Thanks All

blutac here too, its been that way for a couple years now. Eventually Ill work my way up to a small MFD display per MFD, but for now the blutac on the monitor is fine.

I use https://www.command.com/3M/en_US/command/products/~/Command-Clear-Medium-Refill-Strips/?N=5924736+3294529207+3294737329&preselect=8719408+3293786499&rt=rud They work well, and leave no marks or residue on the monitor upon removal.

Double sided poster tape works well too - easier to peel off, as it’s meant to be peeled off.
