Nice touch on the Singapore F-16D Block 52 pit that includes the WAR type HUD.

Was wondering, with this update, is it possible to make mark point with hmcs ?

Sort of, if you have a TGP… I find something I want to mark with Mk1 eyeball, slew the TGP diamond there, then create a TGP markpoint

Very happy indeed!
Way more transparent to user. Tech docs, manual for the manuals etc. Coms, Awacs-calls, AIFF, Heat-seeking, tracers, etc etc etc: Absolutly stellar; Hard work. I read the techmanual swiftly and reflected on the work put in and almost lost senses. Thank you guys!
Holding 1 billion thumps on the mp.
Cheers!
Ps. Take a vacation and enjoy the fact you very activily make hundreds and hundreds of people happy every day, FOR FREE! .Ds

This! The user documentation is outstanding, you can see how much work went into it by the ease readability, concise explanations of various functions within the software and clarity of the visual design layout. These were written with beginners in mind. The older manuals were trickier to digest. 5 years in and I’m always learning something new about BMS. It’s much appreciated, thank you!

So far guys … are you considering that 4.34 version is a success? (awaiting more feedback on MP of course )
Are you happy? :munch:

Nice, my next question is this. If you have tgp and press mrkpt button on icp, will it default to that sensor ?

It depends. See -34 page 26.

I love the holes on the overcast. I run the benchmark mission, I saw a hole from above and I dived on it expecting it to close as usual as soon as I hit the invisible top limit of the layer and to my sorprise I crossed the layer with clear sight all the way to the ground. Extra nice bacause I did not expect it

the HMCS target cueing is a big deal. Something I would like to see added to it in the future is the elevation cue on the HUD tape, in + and -, as well as the bottom corner bulls reference, SOI info, etc etc.
seeing and using the HMD in bms makes me think, no one modeling it has ever worn one for any prolonged amount of time. But it’s a good guess. A tgp flir image filter with a sort of, HUD only view with track IR settings would APPEAR more like what is being used currently. The acm modes for WVR combat are degrade modes anyways, and not something you’d ever want to have to use. The most commonly used modes are the FLIR SAR maps, which is like a tgp greyscale WHOT BHOT version of the sky. its a high contrast mode dedicated for BVR, it fliters cloud distortion and distance to give the man the best bet at creating a workable killer radar solution by adding visual cues for post, fpole, and some other visual helpers for firing and not dying.
And the f35 layout is even more exotic, because it integrates the silencio de centralizers as well as creating target data with no emission. this is why the DARPA loves it, its the future FAC of a drone swarm they’ve been working on since the late 80s. all the substance and none of the filler. thats all im saying.
-
Care to share the F-16 tape which you think uses FLIR SAR instead of ACM?
F-16 does not have Legion, or DAS, or anything of the sort… we can only stick to what is in the real aircraft.
-
F-16 does not have Legion
Legion has been tested on the Viper and is now a certified load, available for customers to purchase.
Hellenic Air Force following our Viper’s fleet migration to the V standard that will start in some months, appears that will purchase a number of Legion pods also.

I noticed the Autopilot option have been changed.
It is not possible to set it ia Combat Mode in Global Settings.
Is it removed completelly or it can be activated somehow (or will return in the future)?
I used this to AAR and to check some landing procedures by AI. (Ill be not able to use stick and throttle for loooong time ).Anyway fantastic work guys.
Best regards for whole team! -
I noticed that now the function “SimRadarStandby” has been renamed in “SimRadarFreeze” but it doesn’t freeze the radar in AA mode while in AG mode it enables the OSB7. Haven’t i read the f*****g manual??
Devs, you do a stunning work on every version!!!
Thanks -
As for changes, do different targeting pods provide different target pictures now (zoom and TV/IR sensor depending on the selected pod) ? I’m very curious about it, but unfortunately I won’t have time to test it before next weekend.
(By the way, the warning when one chooses laser guided weapons without choosing a targeting pod too is a nice touch.)

Very curious, so curious that I would swear you’ve already posted this question
There is much more difference between TV and FLIR modes and the ranges that they work are more realistic, but all targeting pods still work the same.

I did ask first in the wrong thread, yep, sorry (and I’ve just deleted it).
Thanks for the answer.

Don’t worry, your excitement is obvious
