BMS 4.34 Release congrats and thanks
-
Greetings BMS team.
Just installed the new 4.34 update. Configured my TMW just enough to give 4.34 a go. Went into instant action and…Wow!
The moment you go into 3D the first thing that really comes out are the new “Clouds”. The fact that they sometimes hang just above the ground gives a great “misty” impression…at least for me.
I know that there’s lots of other features (not so obvious) which have been implemented. I had already downloaded some of the docs which is an impressive peice of work on its own (congrats and respect to the author), so I’m quite aware of all the new changes with this new upgrade.
Now its just a question of setting up my Hotas proper and keep on R’ingTFM.
Just wanted to thank everyone involved for sharing out this with us.
Best regards. -
I think now is the perfect time to start the steep learning curve. Really amazing job team BMS, the attention to detail and support available within the documentation is simply the best I have seen in any flight simulation. Keep up the good work!

Jaycee just wait until you come across some towering cumulus clouds for the first time!
-
Totally! Thanks BMS team for all your efforts! Loving 4.34 (from what little chance I’ve had to play it!)
-
I agree, the new version of BMS is stunning! The best new feature, IMO, is the IFF.
Thanks and Bravo Zulu, guys! -
For my part I think the extra work by RedDog and the Devs into the training manual, plus the stuff in the comms and nav are truly Benchmark. The ATC flow and new AI are outstanding - well done to you all and thanks again

Hi guys,
I don’t know how to say : A ton of thanks to all of you, BMS team, and all falcon lovers. More than twenty years of life : Wow ! And it’s not the end of the story … Really guys, do you realize that this team give us what we have all dreamed about : Falcon 4 and it’s campaign engine, always worked on, always better and more realistic, and all this stuff for free !!
You are amazing ! Thank you !

Indeed! It’s quite amazing to see what can be accomplished, considering the starting material…especially when that material (from what I understand) is a delicate spider-web of code, where changes can ripple throughout unexpectedly. I’m sure there’s stories to be told there, for every release!
Everything from the new sound dynamics and ground handling to the ATC & IDM make it feel like a new toy all over again.
Thank you BMS team! -
Without sarcasm, I hope someone (Red Dog, maybe?) has been keeping documentable records, taking careful notes & minutes, etc. because this story of Falcon BMS would make a great book some far away day (30 to 40 weeks from now).
-
Finally, we get working IFF.
-
I used to play Falcon since the SP3 SP4 days, the fact that you bring the sim up to this level of fidelity is totally mind blown it makes me want to return to the sim again.
