Air-air radar modes TMS management quick chart
-
Hey,
i’ve been using this self-made quick-and-dirty chart for the master air-air radar modes and their corresponding TMS management for a while and updated it for 4.34.
To whomever it might be helpful, with no warranties.https://drive.google.com/open?id=1hHuLKnZCFmRxjr1O7yNLCnDN3blfQQgE
(Link to a PDF document on my Google Drive)The chart has to be read as follows:
From every mode box, following the arrows in directions up/down/right will bring you to the new mode that will occur when pressing TMS up/down/right.
E.g. starting on RWS, following the upward arrow will bring you to the mode followed by pressing TMS-Up, in this case RWS-SAM.
Rest should be self-explaining.
Please report any inaccuracies or suggestions for extensions if you find it helpfull.Logic.

Not 1s but around 0.6s, I believe.
There is a subtelty to DTT that your diagram does not show :
TMS-uo a 2nd track in SAM enters TTS (Two Target SAM), where it can still scan a bit. DTT is a special case of TTS : when the tracks are too close (<10 nm), the radar does not have time anymore to scan and just ping-pongs between targets, that is DTT. -
Thanks for the review.
Hmm, BMS1-F16CM-34-1-1 says 1 sec.
Wasn’t aware of the TTS subtelty. Any link to documentation that desribes it?
Dash-34 contains the mnemonic TTS at some places but never describes what it is and how to enter it. (unless i missed it) -
Cool, but we are such nerds!

If you can find a copy, T.O. 1F-16CM-34-1-1 has such a description.
