Some questions for all the experienced 4.34 fliers out there.

Hey guys I have a few questions for you. I am recently getting back into Falcon BMS after a long break and I have been looking through the forum to find some answers but have been unsuccessful. So here’s my questions, if you guys don’t mind.
1st With the current version of BMS 4.34 I can’t seem to find the kneeboard key, has that changed?
2nd Does anyone have a list of the keybindings for the 4.34 version?
3rd Are there any mods to use for terrain textures, cockpit etc etc that work for 4.34 or are the stock files HD?
4th Do all of the maps that are available for BMS work version 4.34?
Thanks very much guys for taking the time to help me out, I really appreciate it. There’s so much to refresh on and it can be some what crazy when your trying to get the most out of the game…
Salute!

Keybindings depend on which keyfile you use.
I suggest PSKeys to see what the keybindings are.
EDIT: I use this version.

As before, look at the Full or Pitbuilder key files to see all callbacks. Not all callbacks are bound to keys so you will have to do that yourself and find a system that works or makes sense for you. I used PSKeys before to see what’s bound where but we also now have Kolbe’s excel file (BMS Key File Editor) in \Falcon BMS 4.34\Docs\01 Input Devices\02 Key File Editor folder. Not sure if PSKeys does this but the excel file checks for duplicate assignments, so really useful.

1st zlt C : P gives you the pilot model on/off, it is in the manual. There is no such key as a ‘kneeboard key’ but I think this is what you mean.
2nd look at the other posts, and go over the keyfile part in the manual. It’s a bit of work but you only have to do it once.
3rd the stock files give you excellent visuals, and mods will probably be released by the authors if they need converging to the new version. Some visuals have a particular DDS file they load. Change the DDS file and test the results (at your own risk so be careful). Like the canopy reflection and/or the hud glass one or skins. Actual mods (that modify script or Dbase entries) are not advised and risky for stability. But it’s your install so go ahead
4th No, not yet. They need to be updated to be compatible with 4.34. Keep an eye out on the forums.
And RTFM

Why are you immediately asking for mods if you have not been flying falcon for a long time, and are not even set up yet in basic functionality? I am always wondering about this.

Thanks guys appreciate it…
@Diver: Just wondering cause I noticed that some pilots are flying 4.34 with some mods added to enhance the game. I love eye candy that’s why I asked. I am setup using an older file that I have saved from a few years ago but some of the keybinding aren’t there or are missing.
Anything that make this game look the part is for me…
