GM vs GMT
-
GM is for Ground Mapping & GMT is for Ground Moving Targets - does GMT also show static targets such as buildings? How does GMT pick up movers?

I’m not convinced GMT picks up movers…someone prove me wrong. …

I think he means ground vehicules

Your wrong. It even picks up helicopters

I’ve picked up Mi-8’s when trolling for tanks.
-
I use GMT always at CAS missions, as it is the only way to detect ground vehicles in movement, and works OK for me

GMT works on difference or phase data to filter out stationary returns. Returns which remain the same in position or Doppler phase are canceled to leave moving indications.
For a simplistic understanding imagine taking two pictures and subtracting the second one from the first. Real APG-68 is probably using Doppler phase data and some complicated processing but the concept is similar: filter out stationary stuff! -

There’s a claim against it, but I think it’s the cheesy 70s/80s music they used.
