Joystick/key files etc.

OK - I’m one of the laggards who’s been keeping the old 4.3x keyfiles and trying to make things fit. But have given up and now want to be a good boy and use the right key files etc. So, have loaded up the BMS X52 DX.pro file for my stick, and the BMS Full key file in the game.
Referring to the supplied pdf I was sort of expecting therefore that for instance, pressing T2 button on the stick up or down would generate air brakes open/closed…. or that Pinky + Fire button would recentre Track IR.
Unfortunately, none of these DX commands seem to work (and I presume you can’t see them giving the assigned function in the UI). Am I missing something here, or should I go back to the old key files… is there some way of enabling all these DX callbacks?
Any help - or a working .prO/keyfile for X52 (not Pro) appreciated.

unless I am wrong, 4.33 key file should work fine in 4.34. There are new stuff in 4.34 but the basics (ones in your HOTAS) are still the same, airbrake is still airbrake, pickle is still pickle, etc. So new stuff added but old stuff still mostly (99%??) the same.

Did you copy and paste your dx only files to the full key file

In your Docs>01Input Devices>03HOTAS Setup>Saitek X-52 directory there should be two key files with the string “BasicDX” in the name. Try one of them.
EDIT - Crossed with TommyBoy. Note that attachment appears to be for X52-Pro. -
Take a look at the …\Docs\01 Input Devices\03 HOTAS Setup\Saitek X-52 folder.
There is all you need. The full key file can’t work as it has no DX code lines included.
Use one of the BMS - BasicDX X-52 key files. -

Aha! So the BMS Full key file hasnt got DX coding - that explains it. Will try one of the others that has DX in the file name. Thx
