Help for error 0xc000007b
-
Since yersterday I can run the launcher but when clicking on Launch I get this error 0xc000007b, and can’t further. Same error with Arma3 but all other programms are running well
Any of the solutions I read are working, and reinstalling BMS Falcon gave the same error.
My config : Win 10, NVidia GTX 770, these two games are on a dedicated SSD.
I would appreciate any solution for this very disturbing problem, and thanks a lot for your help. -
Run an intensive memory test, try MEMTEST86 or MEMTEST64 or similar

You may want to check your graphics card drivers to make sure they are up to date. Problems with drivers can also cause this type of failure.

Thanks to you but Memory test ok, GC drivers updated, and problem always here !
Other suggestions welcome… -
try to download Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86), should be the fix

Thanks to Dema, I uninstall all my Visual C++ and reinstall them after download but always this stupid error and imposible to play !
It’s the first time as I practice Falcon since 20 years ans I am very frustated. -
AV disabled
Run Windows update, check and install updates, then disable it
Run as admin
Windows get to be 64 bit
Older gpu drivers, uninstall and registry clean then reinstall older one, I suggest a falcon reinstall after this checks.Cheers

Did you maybe disabled virtual RAM memory allocation in Windows? If yes try to activate it again by choosing “let Windows manage virtual RAM size automatically”

Thanks all for your help.
After experimenting all the suggestions, I needed to uninstall Flacon et clear the registry, Reinitiate Windows, installing Falcon again and its running well again.:D
I just losted a lot of programs on my system disk and have to reinstall them. -
It’s probably too late but this error usually come when an EXE tries to link with a “bad DLL”. I assume some DLL(s) got either corrupted somehow, or “changed” by something to their 32 bit version, and so when EXE (64 bit of BMS and I assume also ARMA) tried to link with such DLL, it couldn’t and such error was thrown.
