CCIP Cockpit Mod

Version 6.0.4 has been released.
Change log and the URL for download are available in the first post.As you can see in the change log, it does include the edition for Block 40.
I would like to BIG thank PL_Harpoon for the permission to modify his Block 40/42 Hud.
Thankfully, he kindly gave it to me. I appreciate you, Harpoon!
And since I exclusively enjoy virtual flight in the Block 50, I would like to dedicate Block 40 edition for this community, including 8th VFW with respect!Installation guide is not ready yet, however I would say it does to come.
There are two different style of WAR HUD in the package.
The default texture DOES have reflection on the surface of combiner glass, and the optional texture DOES NOT have.
You can choose the style by interchanging texture number of 8115.w/ reflection (8115.dds):

Before the installation of this version, you must back up the number of parent records in 3dckpit.dat.
Open the 3dckpit.dat in your “Art” folder, and note the following line somewhere.cockpitmodel xxxx;
cockpitmodel2 xxxx;
cockpitmodel3 xxxx;
cockpithudmodel xxxx;
cockpitcanopymodel xxxx;Then, replace all of Block 50 lods, and overwrite the Data folder.
After the replacing and overwriting, re-open the 3dckpit.dat, and replace the “cockpit~” lines with noted one.
Hi…does anybody know what files to copy - i have my OLD falcon bms 4.33 with balkans update 3.5…Now i upgraded to balkans 3.6 but i dont know which files to copy froom old install to my new one so I dont have to do all th modding dance moves once again
-
I’m not following the development of Balkan Theater and its change log, so really don’t know which file has been updated after the release of new version.
And, I will not support any 3rd party theater. -
Hi Peca,
Execuse me if i missed something about installation of Block-40. Me and my friends are using your mod for Block-50 already but one of my friend has tried to install for Block-40 and he totally messed up everyting… After re-installed the BMS he tried to install Block-40 model directly. But weirdly he got a Block-40 cockpit at Block-50 model. He is sure about used the right lods while installation. As i know we can use this mod for 40 and 50 at same time if it’s true could you please guide us how to load mod for Block-40?Best Regards!

The only difference in installation process for Block 40, is 3dckpit.dat you have to edit.
I have no BMS installation in this pc so I’m not sure, but I guess the file is located in the “Block 40” directory.
No texture overlap between 40 and 50, btw. -
Good evening.
So when setting blk.50 (blk.40 set and edited in 3dckpit.dat), do not you need to change anything in 3dckpit.dat?
So I did it so with blk.50 - Data / Art / ckpart / F- 16CM-50 / 3dckpit.dat.
I think it’s good, because it’s just this one block 50 -

So, copy lines Blk.40 from 3dckpit.dat., Then edit Blk.50 in their place, and after editing paste the copied Blk.40?

No offense, but I don’t understand what exactly you mean.
I think you don’t have to take it as complicated process.
Just follow the installation procedure and do it again for Block 40 pit except:The only difference in installation process for Block 40, is 3dckpit.dat you have to edit.

Okay, I’m sorry for straining your patience, Dear PeCa_Chuck, I gave up.
The rustling Polish language is too difficult for the Google translator:drink: -
Bump this thread back up
I’am wondering PeCa_Chuck will be able to update your work so can work in BMS 4.34?
Cause your work was very nicely done work spectular! -
I installed it and pretty much everything works except the tacan iff panel.
-
Do you have a download link?
All the DL links are broken -
The download link does not work on their website ?
-
Nope…Links are broken
-
That sucks.
-
If someone has the file, they can send to me, I can host it on my server. It is only compatible with 4.33 though. It will have issues in 4.34. If someone knows how to get ahold of Peca_chuck to see if he can convert them, that would be nice. I know Hall371 already tried and fails. I mentioned that if Peca_Chuck was willing, that I would convert it if he did not want to take on the task. I worked on the default cockpits for BMS and I would hate to see this cockpit go to waste. Peca_Chuck makes really nice cockpits. I just need the .max file and the texture files so that I can update the cockpit.

I sent Peca_Chuck a PM. I’m just waiting for a response.

Here is the link for the Peca_Chuck CCIP Mod again…this will only work for 4.33. 4.34 it is not compatible with.
-
That’s weird, I got it to work on 4.34. The only thing that does not work is the if/tacan side panel.
