CCIP Cockpit Mod
-
Hi Peca,
Execuse me if i missed something about installation of Block-40. Me and my friends are using your mod for Block-50 already but one of my friend has tried to install for Block-40 and he totally messed up everyting… After re-installed the BMS he tried to install Block-40 model directly. But weirdly he got a Block-40 cockpit at Block-50 model. He is sure about used the right lods while installation. As i know we can use this mod for 40 and 50 at same time if it’s true could you please guide us how to load mod for Block-40?Best Regards!

The only difference in installation process for Block 40, is 3dckpit.dat you have to edit.
I have no BMS installation in this pc so I’m not sure, but I guess the file is located in the “Block 40” directory.
No texture overlap between 40 and 50, btw. -
Good evening.
So when setting blk.50 (blk.40 set and edited in 3dckpit.dat), do not you need to change anything in 3dckpit.dat?
So I did it so with blk.50 - Data / Art / ckpart / F- 16CM-50 / 3dckpit.dat.
I think it’s good, because it’s just this one block 50 -

So, copy lines Blk.40 from 3dckpit.dat., Then edit Blk.50 in their place, and after editing paste the copied Blk.40?

No offense, but I don’t understand what exactly you mean.
I think you don’t have to take it as complicated process.
Just follow the installation procedure and do it again for Block 40 pit except:The only difference in installation process for Block 40, is 3dckpit.dat you have to edit.

Okay, I’m sorry for straining your patience, Dear PeCa_Chuck, I gave up.
The rustling Polish language is too difficult for the Google translator:drink: -
Bump this thread back up
I’am wondering PeCa_Chuck will be able to update your work so can work in BMS 4.34?
Cause your work was very nicely done work spectular! -
I installed it and pretty much everything works except the tacan iff panel.
-
Do you have a download link?
All the DL links are broken -
The download link does not work on their website ?
-
Nope…Links are broken
-
That sucks.

If someone has the file, they can send to me, I can host it on my server. It is only compatible with 4.33 though. It will have issues in 4.34. If someone knows how to get ahold of Peca_chuck to see if he can convert them, that would be nice. I know Hall371 already tried and fails. I mentioned that if Peca_Chuck was willing, that I would convert it if he did not want to take on the task. I worked on the default cockpits for BMS and I would hate to see this cockpit go to waste. Peca_Chuck makes really nice cockpits. I just need the .max file and the texture files so that I can update the cockpit.

I sent Peca_Chuck a PM. I’m just waiting for a response.

Here is the link for the Peca_Chuck CCIP Mod again…this will only work for 4.33. 4.34 it is not compatible with.
-
That’s weird, I got it to work on 4.34. The only thing that does not work is the if/tacan side panel.
-
maybe he is working on or it will come ready soon.

yeah and it is not a fully accurate CCIP cockpit. Some of the side panels are different from today F-16 cockpit than from the later ones.
