As with 4.33, I can’t get SNAPLOOK and LIT to work when using TFR. I push DMS Up (mapped using Ctrl+ Alt Up arrow) in my key file) - which gives me all the usual functions for DMS, and then use my ministick on the X52 (which would normally slew the radar cursors).
I’m not using Direct X bindings.
Anyone any ideas? (other than to use the 4.34 key file - which I would, but I spent so long getting it right in 4.32 onwards, and frankly I can’t understand the key bindings manual!)
(Takes step back and waits for flak…)

Snaplook and LIT are FLIR features, not TFR feature …
dunno if you meant FLIR writing TFR or if you’re really trying to get these feature flying Under TFR -
“I’m not using Direct X bindings.”
Remember just because you have a joystick profile doesn’t mean it isn’t keyboard commands being sent. Consider that if one button is “shift-A” and the other button is “control-B” then when you press both you aren’t giving independent commands. All computer sees is “shift-control-a-b”.

I would check the DMS up function elsewhere, for example in Maverick VIS mode, to check that it is correctly mapped.

As mentioned above, seriously think about ditching mapped keystrokes and using DX instead. It’s MUCH better and will save a lot of headaches. How is the cursor mapped? Are you mapping keystrokes there too, or is it an axis via the setup?

Have now tried with the X52 DX key file loaded and the supplied X52 DX key profile. Going TMS up, and Shift + arrow keys to move the cursors, doesn’t alter the FLIR image in the HUD at all.

Try DMS Up?
