Cursor enable
-
This function puzzles me I reluctantly admit. I have a multi directional hat on my hotas programmed to slew the radar/TGP etc. cursors. But is there also supposed to be a “push/press” function as well?
Page 121 in the Training Manual ( referring to switching AGM modes) says modes can be changed with the Cursor Enable button. How is that done?

Yes

The Cursor Enable is on the throttle in the real F16 and also on the Cougar. It is part of the Cursor slew control and you have to push to enable. Unless you have hat that has a push button, you have to assign it to something else.

Thank you!

there is an option somewhere called SLEW TO ENABLE CURSOR, i thought, because my cursor unlocks when I slew my analog slew. Also, Cursor enable also toggles A/G pre plan, TOO, and other modes like BORE and VIS for ground ordinance.
