Fresh install from original CD and BMS 4.34 Hangs at Falcon BMS splash screen
-
A friend was experiencing the same issue and found out that the problem was the windows time. Check yours and see if it’s correct.

Time is correct. I live in AZ so we do not change time ever. LOL

any force feedback stick or controller?
-
Have you tried opening the Configuration app and unticking the Play Intro Movie on Start Up box in the General folder?
-
I do have Saitek X52 setup but have not plugged them in yet.
-
Just tried unticking intro movie and still not working. BMS launches and can hear the sound of menu screen but it is windowed and when I click the BMS taskbar Icon the screen also turns black but still hear the audio of menu screen. Sees to be a video resolution issue perhaps. Running monitor at 1920x1080 is this not supported?
-
Ok so I finally got it to work. I have 2 displays and had it set to extend displays. one was running at 1920x1020 and the other is 1440x900. Switched both to display the same at 1440x900 and my smaller 19in monitor works but my larger 28" TV goes blue(No Input) I have even set the TV to the same 1440x900 resolution and the same black screen with the sound in the background. Any suggestions?

What if you just see the splash screen but don’t hear any music (unticked intro movie)?
-
Honestly is this all the help you got Scorpio ?
Its been 18 days , whats happening ???

Fresh install from original CD and BMS 4.34 Hangs at Falcon BMS splash screen. I can hear the music for the menu screen from the original game and that’s as far as I get
What has "Fresh install from original CD " to do with the problem? This “original install” has no influence on the quality of the BMS installation which is totally separate. If you try to install BMS over the top of Falcon 4.0 then there will be problems.
AND “I can hear the music for the menu screen from the original game and that’s” The original should not be running.
You need to look at the Install instructions for BMS again.
