Mirage 2KD Texture issue and quickfix

Hey everyone,
Mirage planes are great fun in BMS, all thanks to BMS team.
Furthermore the highres textures are pretty cool in Mirage 2000D,
however there is an issue or a bug with some of the textures for the cockpit.The issue is with the default KTO high-res textures 4046.dds, 4047.dds and 4048.dds - they are different from small-res textures.
Backlight in the high-res is green, while red in small-res and the ECM sign has no red version in high-res textures, leading to no indication as to whether ECM is emitting or not.And while backlight and text color are up to the author of the textures / cockpit / BMS team to decide and hardly impact functionality, not to mention that its a longer story to change for me, the “ECM” emitting sign is important. I’m sure there are reasons why the sign is what it is in 4.34.4 with high-res textures and I’m sure BMS team has lots of things to do already and probably Mirage isn’t a priority for most.
So, I took the liberty of altering the color of ECM sign to red - the same as it is in small-res textures.

Make sure to backup the original texture and enable High-Res textures in your BMS config/setup.
Dear author / owner of the textures and Mirage project: I love you already, and no harm is intended by this altered texture, I’m sure you would do better than I did here, but for now hopefully it’s ok to share this.

Hi depapier, I’m one of the author of the high res texture. I was unaware of this, I (and my Mirage squadron) fly on a slightly evolved version of textures that has a few updated elements and has not been shipped to BMS yet. The CME light was indeed supposed to be red when it is activated so thank you for your finding. I think there are also some adjustments to do wrt the RWR functions and buttons.
Anyways a polished version shall be shipped, I will send it to the BMS team when it is ready and with your remarks taken into consideration.

In the modded file i’ve linked the “toggle” of functions on the mfd/hsi screen is also painted green where it is green on small-res textures. I think they are worth comparing in general. The alignment of some backlight elements on high-res textures is also a bit off as you can see on the screenshot.
I was actually thinking to paint it to correspond more to this sort of pattern of mostly red+a bit green (though this isnt a -D model, but i cannot find photos of it with lights on): -

OK I see. I believe red back lighting made its exit with NVG compatibility cockpit upgrades. Will have to double check.

yup. it may be console/aircraft/generation dependant. I’ll figure out something with the resources I have (feel free to hop in PM if you have any more relevant material).
