MILVIZ flight sim

what are these people about, are they serious about the viper, and the developers here get the viper’s cockpit & other goodies from them:
-
yeeeeeeeeehaaaaaa !!!
another new benchmark
“we have the no kidding information and work for military people” !!!
-
Graphics:
DirectX12 compliant video card
11 GB video RAM or higher
RTX 2080 Ti (recommended minimum)RTX 2080 Ti
(recommended minimum)
Those requirements are pretty low spec. Good thing we have way more powerful GPUs to be able to run it on something other than minimum settings.

I would not be surprised if these guys don’t have MIL (as well as film) Contracts, which would give them cause to be serious…check their home page -

…given that they are modelling exclusively for Prepar3D - and “Note: Due to limitations inherent in Prepar3D’s PDK texture system, dual videocard setups such as SLI or Crossfire are not supported when running this sim in P3D v4 and above.” So I have a feeling you can forget about your multi-GPU rigs with this.
And their moto: “quality or why bother?” = $$$$…starting with getting hold of Prepar3D. Seeing as they are right down the road from me, I may have to try and visit them though…
EDIT: not to mention that after a quick trip to the Prepar3D site, seems they’ve just recently released V5 - the site says all these work with V4…hopefully they’ll be updated for V5, but I would think the best Viper you can get is probably the one that Lockheed gives you with Prepar3D. Who knows the jet better than the folks that make it?

Prepar3D is just FSX in Lipstick, the supplied F-16 is just the aerosoft one and this milviz one will just be yet another Flight Sim addon pretending to be an actual simulator. Nothing to see here.

I’m not a fan of Prepar3D but I find the constant shtting on every other flight sim on here a tad annoying. It prompted me to ask "Hmmm why do so many BMS users like to sht talk other military combat flight sims on their forum (DCS, CAP, ARMA, Prepar3d, etc.) but when I go to the forums for other sims, NOBODY says anything negative about BMS?". Especially DCS. Why? What did these sims ever do to yours? Oh, I get it, because they have better graphics, better tech; and you’re insecure and jealous because maybe you don’t have a rig that’s capable of running these programs. Its like guys who have small penises who try to overcompensate by being bullying or being the loudest or something. I used to only be able to run falcon BMS because I had a shitty PC, but it didn’t make me hate on DCS, it made me save up about 350 dollars, and then I went and bought a pretty decent gamer’s rig (used), and now I can run DCS, prepar3d, FSX, AND BMS. They all have things to offer that others don’t, and until DCS comes out with a good dynamic campaign and a fully modeled F-16, I’ll continue to give BMS plenty of my time:)

Personally, I’d like to get a look at the Pro version of Prepar3D - I have NEVER encountered any any desktop simulator that comes close to an actual Trainer - and that’s what the Pro version of Prepar3D is aimed at, so I bet it’s not at all a slouch. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen a number of Trainers driven by X-Plane as well, or at least using a similar approach to X Planes as far as their aero modelling goes.
I don’t have any particular “love” for any particular sim (or software of any kind) - including BMS. BMS just happens to be one of he best, and when all is said and done there are still some things about the kinematics of FAF that I prefer to BMS. All of them - every last one - have strengths and weaknesses, and most of what I enjoy about any of them is discovering what those are and how they differ.
The more I see of it though, the more I think that once I get my hands on the MSFS 2020 - I’ll be on it exclusively. And wondering if I’ll be able to port Prepar3D models into it…

Milviz make quality products for FSX/P3D no doubt. I’m sure their work on an F-16 module will turn out to be well polished but probably lacking in combat systems due to the environment that P3d provides, i.e. not one with any combat or combat systems/AI to speak of.
I’m not a fan of Prepar3D but I find the constant sh*tting on every other flight sim on here a tad annoying.
It seems to me like a vocal minority here who do that. The majority of BMS users stay in their lane IMO, even the guys who work hard on this sim for free! They’re the ones who have the right to be proudest of their achievements and they’re perfectly comfortable letting their quality, free product do the talking.
I have a rig that runs DCS really well and I enjoy flying it a lot but BMS continues to get the majority of my simming time because it’s a better simulation of modern air combat than any other sim available on the market. I also find it to be the most immersive and challenging flightsim. DCS goes pretty stale unless you’re really good at the ME and .lua.
I fly with a couple of real world fighter pilots who don’t touch DCS and exclusively play BMS so that’s gotta count for something. One of those guys speaks very highly of the Milviz B350 also.

This.
And actually I did not saw any shitting on Il-2, RoF or ArmA or other titles here. DCS yes, other sims/games no.

Have you ever tried to discuss other sims, especially BMS, on the DCS forum? Open a thread about BMS there and see - it’ll go down quicker than an Alabama whore. The mods there have a very strict policy which is adhered to. It’s not a case anyone says anything negative about BMS, nobody says anything about BMS, period! Here on the other hand discussing other sims is allowed and inevitably people will voice their opinion, positive or otherwise.
PS - go to Reddit or whatever it’s called and you’ll see plenty DCS fans pissing on BMS. That fanbase has their fanatics too.

True .
Best regards, you all ,passionate Falconeers !
Take care you all, and thanks

Why? I’ll tell you why, Because of stuff like that:
and until DCS comes out with a good dynamic campaign and a fully modeled F-16, I’ll continue to give BMS plenty of my time:)
You and others like you that pop in here from time to time, you assume that BMS only exist to be a placeholder until DCS will finish this or that. Well then, I’m sorry to disappoint but I’m in this “business” long enough to tell that Falcon was declared dead and buried at least a dozen times in the past.
And, because you insist mentioning “insecurity” - I’m secured enough to put my chips where my mouth is: You will be flying BMS deep deep into the future, not because DCS won’t deliver, but because we will prefer BMS more. Mark my words son, you will see.

everybody calm down please,
After all people are free to use the sim they like regardless of what you might want them to do.We should stop judging sim companies on their names and motto only (MILVIZ), we should stop comparing different sims (DCS & BMS) and being mutually exlusive to one or the other.
Live along and stop putting oïl on these comparison fires, this is our forum Policy and nobody is above these rulesenjoy BMS either by flying it or by developping it (or both) rather than turning this place into a battlefield
