An importance of HQ units?
-
What benefits do HQ units provide for the battlefield? And I mean from a game’s perspective, apart from their obvious function in a real conflict (and apart from them being a very juicy target for when you want to train your JSOW/cluster bomb skills)
DPRK certainly likes to tag them along (to much joy of having multiple airman medals earned in a matter of an evening) with the rest of the troops and so does friendly strategic AI - and as I like to take control of much of the ground war myself (because ground AI is still way too passive) - I just want to know if I should bring them with the rest of the troops and which penalties would I get (if any) if I don’t.

I’m interested about this too

Me three. I have also been wondering of the effect of IFVs in the battlefield. I don’t believe they ever release infantry?

Maybe there are things which should be hidden for players because it may be considered exploit or just make disappointed the community.
The fog of war is also good for modeling in many cases. It helps keep the immersion. -
I hope that HQ play an important part in the cohesion of units, their morale, and keeping them supplied. That is what I hope, but I think that as a player it is really important to know how HQ are implement in Falcon BMS, so I hope someone has an answer.

In BMS I know that bombing an airfield will prevent airplanes from it operating. So it will be good to know what is tied to HQ too and if bombing it makes sense. What exactly is exploitative about bombing a target if f.e. we will know that doing so will greatly impact morale/supply/whatever of units tied to it?

In this case as I know there are not such distinction. HQ units does not have such effect. But I can be wrong.
