Mouse too slow
-
thanks Pop. I did but the mouse still too slow
-
I have one of those fancy Logitech G9 gaming mice and I can setup multiple DPI profiles on it and then change my DPI on the fly with a little button on the mouse itself… sooo, when I’m in the pit, I just ramp up my mouse’s DPI. Far easier than messing with stuff on the computer. I can then ramp it down as well if needed.
-
I also find the default mouse speed kind of slow. Is there really no adjustable mouse sensitivity parameter within F4 BMS? My mouse is very sensitive in other games and in the OS, I can’t increase that sensitivity in the OS w/out messing up everything else.

i have the same problem with the mouse

Check you in-game fps. It may be so low that it causes your mouse to move slow. Common problem (I had the same problem)
-
Currently there is no possibility to adjust the 3D mouse sensitivity in BMS. The request has been noted and is on the ToDo list…

This was actually done to help people with a TrackIR. Because if you operate the buttons in 3D while having TrackIR active, you constantly make tiny head moves, which makes it difficult to “hit” the buttons/knobs correctly. Hence the mouse cursor “sticks” or better “attaches itself” to a button once it is close enough. I assume that this is what you mean.
very nice explain.

thread rez.
noticed mouse slowdown after updating to 4.35. noticed improvement by turning off V-sync. mouse speed seems linked to framerate.

Sounds an IRQ issue or something.
Not tied to BMS itself but probably you graphic carte interrupt. If you have an nVidia card, take a look at video card param. In some old driver I remember something to tune if we see hit-cuts and conflict with mouse. -
use radeon. there is something called “anti-lag”. just turned that on. will see if it has any impact.
–update: no effect.
