Is there any good books that are about the F-16 also Does Benchmark sims have a manual for BMS or a layout sheet or something that i could print out and look at while i fly i am still new to BMS and i want to lean as most as posible
Thank you in Advance

did you check the docs folder in your BMS installation directory?
-
Read the manual in the docs folder. And as for reading material I loved âVipers in the Stormâ by Keith Rosenkraz(Spelling)

I think when you fire up BMS, you get the main startup with the buttonsâŚthere is a button for âDocumentation and ManualsââŚtwo buttons under âLaunchâ. Lots of reading there.
EDIT: Oh yea, Vipers in the Storm is a good read too!
Good luck!

would recommend googling for the âDash Oneâ - not much in the way of plot, and some of the writing is a bit dry, but after the first 5 pages or so it really takes off!
-
I can highly recommend Dan Hamptons âViper Pilot, a memoir of air combatâ. Also, (not about the F16 but a great book about the early Wild Weasel missions in Vietnam and a good (concise) history of the Vietnam War) âThe Hunter Killersâ also by Dan Hampton.
Enjoy!

T.O. GR1F16CJ-1.pdf T.O. GR1F16CJ-34-1-1.pdf F-16 MLU_M1,m2,m3 The Pilots Guide.pdf

Osprey Combat Aircraft 61 - âF-16 Fighting Falcon Units of Operation Iraqi Freedomâ by Steve Davies & Doug Dildy is another great read about F-16 operations and the roles of the different blocks (strikes vs weasels etc.). OIF is the most recent large scale conflict against a state with modern SAMs, and reading about tactics in the book is good for when learning in the simulator.

Thinking about buying VITS, but the reviews seem hit and miss. It seems to have a lot of personal drama in it; I just want a good book about sorties in the Viper, not a story about a pilot and his home life. Worth a buy, those that have read it?

I suggest the book of Don Hampton. Sure, there are always some autobiographical parts about familiy, education and anecdotes.
Hampton described a lot of combat missions in the second and third Gulf War (1990-91 & 2003).
