In the past I’ve donated to charities of my own choosing to express my gratitude to the BMS developers, making the donation in their name, usually at the end of the year (search for the “end of year donation” threads here in this forum).
As the devs don’t accept monetary donations (for a good reason) I think it’s a good method of doing some good in the world and letting them know their work is much appreciated by the community and having positive effects on society as a whole at the same time.
All the best,
Uwe

Yup, just flew the U1, and thought I need to thank these awesome guys.

Dear Devs,
…I don’t even know how to go about thanking you properly for all the work you do, and all the joy you provide to the community.
Keep going flying Falcon4, taking pleasure and keep the community alive.
I think that is the best way to thanks all my team mates and the best way to ensure that continuity of the story. -
I hosted a U1 flight yesterday and had an internet incident in my area, ok nevermind.
-
BMS for ever! Thank you.

MFD extraction works smooth as butter and stable now. Awesome work much appreciated. Can’t put a price on this level of dedication!

Super great job DEVS. I don’t know of any other Sim that has brought so much dedication and for so long. I have seen this come a long way since I purchased it when it first came out in the late 90s. Still have original binder manual, disk and purchase receipt. Through the years I’ve tried Open Falcon, Free Falcon and BMS. Keep up the good work, I appreciate all that you do. Can’t wait to see what DX11 brings!!!
-
THANK YOU VERY MUCH
-
Yep,been here a longtime.
Games have come and gone but this has been played for years even though i still cannot fly online.
Thanks -

Deleted. Posted in another thread. -
Forum member for only a few weeks - less than 10 hours flight time in BMS - (most of that spent on the ramp grinning at the 3D pit and flicking switches I shouldn’t be) - owned Falcon on first release. Over 20 years later I immediately benefitted from 4.35 when I joined, and I have just re-flown a simple dogfight and AG strike TE i’ve set up to practice using TE and flight basics and benefitted yet again from a tangible increase in performance on my less than suitable laptop due to U1.
DEVS - I hope the knowledge your commitment to BMS is more than enough motivation to keep this rookie pushing through the learning curve gets somewhere close to letting you know how much it is appreciated. -
I agree heartily!
From previous posts I understand that financial compensation is not welcome for a variety of reasons… Maybe instead we send cocaine and hookers!?
