-
Hello Gents!
Im looking for some help so I can move the 3D HUD more up in the screen so its perfect position regards to my cockpit hud.
I have e full simulator and the HUD is way to low on the projector screen when enter the 3D world and like to move it more up. and im using the empty cockpit shell command so im only using the HUD on screenI have tried to look trough those files I think I could change the pos. og the hud but no luck here.
So any help/example on how to do this would help me a lot. a file, a picture, point me to the right file I need to work with.
Thanks

Since I haven’t installed 4.35 yet, was hoping that in. 35 the virtual seat height adjustment would be helpfull
-
No the seatheight adjustment does not do that. It moves the rest of the picture, but the HUD stays.
@Kukki
Can’t you move your ACES up until you see the HUD correctly? That should be the way, you also would do it in the real jet afaik. -

Cool man, think this will work. I make a new view and then call that view when ever I need it, and then go back to my tracking view when just flying and need to look around. TOP

Hey Gents!
I always look from time to time if there are some changes after a BMS update to adjust the viewing position for the 3D HUD. So I found this topic. Like Kukki I need (or better I wish) to have the possibility to change the point of view (up/down position) for the 3d HUD, like you can do it for the HUD only view, to use a head tracking system from the adjusted possition.
Or more better the possibility to look around in the HUD only view.
Currently I swap between the HUD only and the 3d HUD view. The custom views only define a fixed view setting and it is not possible to use a head tracker in this view “modes”. So that is not really what I am looking for.
I am not a programmer and I have this question for a long time and maybe someone can give me an answer. Is there a reason why it is not possible to adjust the 3d HUD view, or to “implement” to “look around” for the HUD only view?
Kind regards,
Scarecrow

SimSeatDown “SEAT: Move Down” -
