Where can I find info on the damage model in BMS?

Yesterday I had to take out 3 bridges with GBU-12. As the GBU-12 is only a 500 lbs bomb, I opted for 2 hits per bridge. So: Ripple 2 with 50 ft spacing. This did do the trick.
Now I’m wondering perhaps in BMS 1 hit was sufficient. But where can I find this info?
Wouldn’t it be practical to know that to sink the Kuznetsov you have to hit 2 hitpoints 3 times or 3 hitpoints twice?

weapon effects is probably one of the lesser developed parts of BMS. Should be able to pull up hitpoints and damage data with the BMS editor.

Thanks for this , Ironman. Interesting stuff. Has anyone else noticed a nuke only does 6% damage ?! The B61 has a 1606 damage rating. . So, 12.45 nukes to sink her?

…so, the way I read this is that you shouldn’t try to “hit” the ship - you should fuse delay, let the weapon explode under water beneath the ship, and break the ship’s back.

Faster than to use BMS Editor is to use the damage calculation from VMT as it does it in one go

one bomb well located is enough but two ,it is just safe
