Development of new aircraft and cockpits

I’d would love to see a cockpit for the F-5, since it is present in KTO for blue side.

That’s very possible.
Only legacy radar will require a lot of coding.

Heh, Rypleys F-16A pit with proper avionics would do the uber cool
There’s lots of great stuff from late '60-'70s stuff like F4 , F5, A6, A7, Tornados, Mirages III/V/F1, planes from red side, same era: Migs 17/19/21/23, Sukchois 17-22m
All the '80 classics Cat/Eagle/Legacy Hornets (A and C)/Hog, Fulcrum/Flanker, Su25 wouldn’t be bad too …
Way too many to list, even not speaking about implementing avionics etc …So I’d settle for F16 family from the beginning up to Blk52+

Well, I think I could code it, but I’ve no wish to dive into BMS code structure.
That’s for sure that an AN/APQ-153 / TARAN-18 / Cyrano II / AN/APQ-120 / NASARR F15A-41B could be very useful.
Do you offer to make this radar and gunsight system ?

First of all you need good data…
F-22 … too classified
F/A-18E/F … too classified
E/A-18G … 5 times too classified
F-35 … too ClassifiedIf you want to make realistic modusle of those jets, you can make a new Ace Combat or Sky Fighters Part 7 or similar… It is just a guessing and putting some stuff together. But you will never get close to real avionic data. Will stay acarde stuff for the next minimum 10 years…
or try DCS F-22, F-35, modules

Does anyone know who made this f-5 pit: https://www.electronicbattlefield.co/pages/cockpits.html?

Hi !
We know it exactly.
EBF/Nizmo was banned from here a couple years ago for ripping copyrighted 3D models.

Everything you see on this website is … a big pain and a big shame in Falcon4 history (link is normally forbidden on BMS forum)
This guy (Nizmo) and Co … stolen a lot of stuff even to some of their friends who trusted them. Nizmo tried to sell some material that wasn’t his (F-15 Cockpit, Theater …)
Similar to what SankeMan from PMC Tactical tried before him (grab other ppl’s productions, compile, sell to make money).
We lost Qawa during this story with Nizmo. -

Hello Seifer,
While thinking about it wisely, I think that a custom radar for F-5E would be really great.
That being said,
I think that as long as it’s an F-16 simulator, we shall maybe look what’s next for F-16 with F-16 block 701/72, with center screen, moving map etc…
Just my feeling !

RadiumNice! Of course those of us using Helios already have that…

So, does anyone know on what his F-5 pit was based? Maybe we can use that one instead?
@Radium: the beauty of software, is that it is exactly soft. It is what we make of it. If we keep thinking this is a F-16 simulator, it will be only an F-16 simulator. But once we change this mindset, we can make it whatever we want.
I don’t have any problem with F-16s. I just like the feeling of flying other aircraft. Back in old days, I used to fly F-15s using Eric Aeyes cockpit and had a lot of fun with it. I know, under the hood, it was still an F16. But it had two engines, was full of missiles, a powerful machine. It gave me the feeling of flying a different aircraft. Gosh I even flew a MP mission where the objective was escorting a C-130 and I was the C-130 pilot, it was a helluva fun.
IMHO we have reached a level of realism in the F-16 that each small improvement is very hard to achieve. Going from 99.9999 to 99.99999 can be very tough. Now, improving other aircraft from 20% to 50%: this can be a lot of fun, rewarding and require less effort.
Last, regarding those recent F16 blocks, I guess those information are probably classified as well. OTOH, info for F-5 E should be there somewhere.
Edit: OH, just look what the Mafia folks are doing. That is inspiring.

Where you can see what mafia folks are doing? Are they on discord right? I can’t find them…

Seifer,
don’t get me wrong : I’m really into getting new stuff into BMS !
I can make or get one F-5E cockpit. 100%. Can you make a legacy radar for it ?

“BMS Fighters Mafia”, send drkbkj a message over in the Project Bug thread to ask for an invite…

Not at all my dear Seifer.
There is a lot still missing and not necessarily Uber complex.
TACAN REC functions, ECM pannel, STBY ADI, SMS setup page, just to name few of them. The A/G radar itself would deserve a total revamp. … And I already hear some guys thinking loud about the L16.Aside from the a/c itself, many valuable impossible to the mission planner, ATO, weapon effects … etc …
