Yet another update from the front lines..

Just to be a bit more specific some of the bug fixes Seifer is talking about (rwr issue , AI - missiles avoidance in MP) were already fixed in the dev versions for a long time.
We decided to backport some of them in order to improve user experience .
It’s good you like this communication , therefore that is very positive.
However I read here and there that this sort of communiction shows for the first time that BMS dev team is taking care of users feedbacks
I would like therefore to make a statement here
After all those years I am a bit surprised to read that some people believe we didn’t take into account users feedback before. As a matter of fact we spend countless hours to read your feedback guys, on bms forum , on several discord channel , on Reddit . We even visit squadrons forums regularly to read feedback. We even watch countless hours of videos to track bugs. We support in the background TvT.
Two reasons we didn’t communicate much in the past :
-
don’t forget some day in the past we were forced to work underground because of legal actions : so that leaves red marks
-
we are very careful to not provoke hype as we don’t want to disappoint you later on
So whatever the communication we make or made , even if we don’t communicate , just be sure of one thing : we care about you guys , your feedbacks and bug reports are very much valued as we can’t stand bugs or bad gameplay either !!!
Thanks for your support

@victor031
Hello victor, I dont want to give much details here, because I want to hear feedback without bias.I dont think this change will help much picking far objects: scaling has not changed at all.
Suffice to say the game looks a lot less grey now. It is still a bit dark, but color are more vivid than previous versions. It still allows foggy weather and bad visibility. But sunny is now, well. Sunny.

@seifer thanks seifer. can’t wait to give my eyes a treat. happy landings

Yuppi…

Um I think you guys maybe accidentally zipped the .torrent file … ?
https://www.falcon-bms.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/Falcon_BMS_4.35.3_Incremental.exe_.zip
-
@airtex2019 I think it is by design: first option is the torrent download. We will release the download link later, from what I understood right @MaxWaldorf ?
-
@airtex2019 Made on purpose…
Feel free to use the magnet link though
-
Seeding here. Oh man, you fixed so many small annoyances for me Look closer with TrackIR, ground objects visible thru fog, airbase repair … Thankyou!
-
What the link says:
Falcon_BMS_4.35.3_Incremental.exe
What the link points to:
Falcon_BMS_4.35.3_Incremental.exe_.zip
What it is:
a 15kb zip file containing a 14kb .torrent file?Whatever works! If it makes the release process any easier… Just seemed a little confusing.
Is CloudFlare really free, for basic CDN usage? I must admit I didn’t realize that… wow. Or is a bandwidth cap / throttling a possibility…
-
@seifer Sorry to disturb about that, thank you for the release, to you and to the whole team.
You mentioned a fox3/RWR critical (in your opinion) issue. I can’t exactly find that matter in the change log. Does it mean it’s for later?
EDIT: I do see the STT fix, but is that the same problem?

Awesome,thankyou
