Thanks for keeping the dream alive everyone! It is also about 22 years since I thought it was dead with 12/07/99 being when original team was laid off. But looking back, it was the best thing that could have happened for Falcon, only not for the designers. Thanks to whomever was disgruntled enough with Hasbro to leak the source code!
-
Happy birthday !!! long leave !!! and amezying things!!!
-
And the best is still to come… a sim full of surprises.
As always.
Happy Birthday, BMS.
And thank you so much, all of you dev. folks. With best compliments and regards.

I still have fond memories of the old F4Community and FW forums Awesome to see Falcon still alive and going strong after all these years… Who would have thought after SP1 through 4 it would’ve come to this…

Especially after sp4 which was not the best version ever to say the least
Finally the fact the guys from AF have send C&D letters around has forced us to regroup , go underground and focus to produce 4.32 instead of letting Many groups modding in the wild
A very shitty move from some devs turned to be the future of falcon 4.0

Hee hee… I still remember you from F4Community.
That was a lovely place. George was the sweetest guy ever. -
@aragorn and we remember you from EVERYWHERE. Just the other day I was playing my VR fitness game to Ladyboy’s “Nippon Manju” and it made me wonder if you were still "big in Japan"
-
@aragorn Weren’t you the spokesman for FF at some point?
@Mav-jp Yea, Falcon development made some curious turns back then. I recall having up to 4 different flavours floating arround. Some official, some a little less official. Things really took off once the .exe edits came into play. But, again, I’m very happy with were Falcon is today -no matter how we got here
-
@Snake122 - Hee hee… I am still IN Japan, but - I reached the zenith of my Rockerness about 4 years ago. My last appearance in a magazine was… well… my LAST appearance…!! I now actively SEEK autograph hunters, and stop random people on the street and BEG to sign something… ANYTHING…
I used to see your name sometimes in articles on aviation sites. You still writing…?
@Guyver1 - “Spokesman”…? That is a curious way to put it, but… summin’ like that… It is nice to see you around (still).
Cheers to you both…!!
The pr0n

@aragorn glad you’re still there then and at least have the good old days to look back upon. You can always do a reunion tour someday
I haven’t really done any flight sim writing since the old days. When I had kids and got serious about my career it cut down on flight sim time and stuff to write about I had a blog for my other main hobby for awhile though. All that experience did get me a job as an aviation tech writer for engine maintenance manuals. It was a good gig, but I was offered to come back to my aviation teacher job at the salary I needed for it to work out so that’s what I’m up to these days.

@aragorn Hehe… what would you call it then? To be honest I never really was an FF guy back then. Though I admired the work that was being put into that mod. Lotsa politics back in those days I remember. Nice to see you’re still around too, old friend. Been a while
