Hey ram i can,t find the Ucheck would you please rell me wich one is in the configuration?
Hi my freind.
Well start the simulator. At main menu click at “Configuration” and then below the Filter you will find the section “-Settings General”. There click over the small square with the “+” and under of it you will find the “Play Intro Movie on Start Up”. Click on it to have its square empty. Then click at lower right to “Apply Changes” and then to “Exit”.
You are ready to have Falcon with no intro movie.

Any changes to your pc since last worked ok ? -
delete dx9display.dsp (better rename it first or back it up) and than run BMS it should be ok. U might have also problems with your logbook so backit up too.

In my experience its not required to backup etc dx9display.dsp. If doesnt exist its merely recreated when launching falcon and user just reselects their prefered resolution for 3D world (in setup/graphics)
Agree that sometimes a crash can be fixed by deleting it. Not had that particular error myself though so havn’t attempted it for such.Falcon BMS 4.32\User\config\dx9display.dsp
Suggest posting your crashlog if still not fixed after turining off play movie etc.

Maybe this will help. http://www.errornerd.com/error.php?seed=0xc000007b

Thank you arty but i really dont know how to do that.
To delete dx9display.dsp
Use Windows Explorer and go to [HardDrive]:\Falcon BMS 4.32\User\Config\dx9display.dsp
Delete dx9display.dsp (don’t bother backing it up) Try to launch BMS again.

To Arty:
hello, dear friend, may I ask you a helping hand with this same issue?
I’ getting this error after I had to reinstall Windows 10 Pro on my PC. Since I reinstalled BMS 4.33.3, I’m able to launch its 32 bit only, but I’m getting that error when I try the 64 bit one.
And I can’t get to overwrite the library ‘msvcr100_clr0400.dll’ in the folders ‘System32’ and ‘syswow64’, they’re protected both. What do you think and what should I do?
Thanks in advance!
With best regards, -
Msvcr100_clr0400.dll is a type of DLL file associated with Windows 8 Consumer Preview ISO images developed by Microsoft for the Windows Operating System. The latest known version of Msvcr100_clr0400.dll is 1.0.0.0, which was produced for Windows.
hmm
why do you want to overwrite this file?
U reinstall windows after upgrade from win8 or win8.1?
Better do a clean install of win10. I had hell with the upgrade. In general not with Falcon.
If it doesn’t let u overwrite then your user account isn’t an administrator (member of the administrators group).
If you are administrator, right click on the file and change owner or rights to your user account. To change the rights: (right click on the filename, Security tab, Edit…,Add…,Advanced…,Find Now,->Select your user account and then select OK) on the permissions as you go back with the ok’s select allow all permissions. Then it will let you do anything. BUT I don’t think by doing so will solve your problem.Did you try to delete the dx9display.dsp file?
Unplug all input devices and leave keyb and mouse only. if BMS runs then it’s an input device problem. -
Hello, dear Arty.
Thanks a lot for your well detailed reply.
I didn’t upgrade to 10 my OS system from a previous version, I had 10 Pro with its latest update instead, but I had to reinstall it by its embedded procedure because there was no recovery point available, I don’t know if I mean.
And you guessed it right, the account I was using has no administrator rights.
I’ll follow your suggestion about how to delete that ‘dx9display.dsp’ file correctly. And most of all, and anyway it goes (hope fine), thanks a lot for your kind attention and help once again!
With best regards,
