Solved Su-33 explodes during Carrier Take-Off

I can’t get Su-33 to take-off,
It always hits the ending part of the ski jump deck and then explode.

Steps to reproduce: “Bear Trap” campaign, Kuznetsov CLS, Carrier Take-Off procedure

@shishkin Fixed for next release…

I can’t get Su-33 to take-off,
It always hits the ending part of the ski jump deck and then explode.

Steps to reproduce: “Bear Trap” campaign, Kuznetsov CLS, Carrier Take-Off procedure

Shishkin,
I’m not familiar with the Su-33 off the ski jump, but we have seen similar issues in F18E testing. In the Rhino there was a trim issue where take-off trim was too severe and the jet over rotated. It sounds like what you’re seeing. May I suggest you put in less trim and experiment . Perhaps even a slight down trim? Also, perhaps relax your stick pull a bit?

Issue confirmed… Seems to be linked to gear strenght but not sure this will be fixed in 4.36 …

Investigation will continue.

Good to know, Thanks.
Read somewhere it has much improved flight model.
Will give it a shot later.

@drtbkj I’ve played with trim a bit, but it doesn’t seem to change anything

You need to change the AFM which will be shipped in 4.36

@MaxWaldorf If it is related to gear strength, can one take-off successfully with a lightly loaded Su-33?

@MaxWaldorf If it is related to gear strength, can one take-off successfully with a lightly loaded Su-33?

No it’s not it’s related with gear strength but gear position and stiffness
