Look for key command for zooming in/out view in TGP
-

I want to program my hotas so that when I am using the maverick I can zoom in and out the view in the tgp using one of my rotary dials.
I thought it was ctl f3 or f4, but when I press the combination it doesn’t jump to anything so I may have deleted the command or it was never assigned…

However I can’t find the key command for that…

Does any one know what it is…

Thanks

@jack72 instead of using a key command why not go to setup >controllers > advanced > avionics and set your rotary as the range knob?

@jack72

In BMS-Full/Basic key file it’s

SimRangeKnobUp -1 0 0x3E 4 0 0 1 "TQS: MAN RANGE Knob - Up"
SimRangeKnobDown -1 0 0x3D 4 0 0 1 "TQS: MAN RANGE Knob - Down"

0x3D 4
is [alt+F3]
0x3E 4
is [alt+F4]

(Also iirc the TGP needs to be SOI for this to work.)

-

set your rotary as the range knob?

Some rotaries are analog axes … some are “encoder” wheels, more similar to a mousewheel, which generate button-click signals as you rotate them.

@jack72 I’ve used Brother Badger’s slider knob idea and it does work. However, I wanted something on the actual throttle. With Voice Attack I was able to make my Warthog’s throttle POV knob accept those commands. I also did antenna elevation, so I have both ant. and range on one knob
