BMS failed to start, HUB.exe missing (SOLVED)
-

Just as info and a heads-up, yesterday, suddenly BMS failed to start, and an error concerning HUB.exe was displayed.
I checked the Falcon BMS 4.35\Bin\x86 and indeed the hub.exe file was missing.
After some exploring I found out that since the last update (2 days ago) of my AVG Internet security Software, AVG decided the HUB.exe file was dangerous and put it in quarantaine, never had that problem in the many years I use BMS (and AVG for that matter).
I marked the file as “save” and it was moved back to the original location and BMS runs again.

So if you encounter a BMS launch error, check your anti-virus or defender software.

Greetz Terminator

@Terminator That’s why i never use “anti-” viruses…

@Terminator Do you use Alternative Launcher?

Prior to v2.0, AL replaces the Hub.exe … my theory: some antivirus software may detect that exe file being replaced, and flag that as malicious?

@Terminator Do you use Alternative Launcher?

No, I don’t use the Alternative Launcher, I run BMS the old fashion way
